I think Queen Anne's Revenge totally undersells itself on its site! We booked the Classic Suite room and it was PERFECT for our needs. It was two completely separate bedrooms, separated by a little hall and two doors, and two bathrooms. This was perfect as we were traveling with our toddler. The location is fantastic as well - a ten minute walk to downtown Bar Harbor! The breakfast is not cook-to-order, but gave us what we needed. I would absolutely stay here again!

A lovely spot, close to all amenities. Our room was well appoint and staff were helpful. Complimentary breakfast was a nice touch.
The only draw back for us was the location of our room which was next to the pantry so we were disturbed regulary be people getting coffe and ice and awoken every morninf at 5 as the staff prepared for the day.

This is a nice hotel in a fantastic location close to downtown Bar Harbor. Thought it was a B&B which is my bad but the Continental breakfast, while good is extremely limited. The problem was our room. Don't let them book you in #2. Sounds great with a jacuzzi (which we used) and an irrelevant fireplace, but the living area was claustrophobic. Any no closets or hanging area! And fake drawers in the dresser so one drawer in the dresser and one in the end table. So staying a week and you have to live out of your suitcase. The owner should be ashamed to rent this room. It ends up we had to be moved on our seventh night and were given a fine room so they are available. I mentioned our room problem on the first day and heard nothing from the owner who I understands owns multiple properties so assume he does not care. At all that if it wasn't for the horrible room it was a pleasant stay.

This is a very good choice when visiting Bar Harbor. The staff is friendly and professional and the location is just a short walk to restaurants and shops. Be aware parking is tight and the door locks can be challenging.
But again a good place to stay.

Check in staff not too friendly. Room on top floor; had 2 & 1/2 levels of very narrow stairs to climb. Awkward with luggage. Room was very nice and roomy; recently remodeled and was very comfortable. Outside deck was an unexpected bonus.

Beautiful property. Conveniently located. Safe. Staff seemed uninterested that guest were there. The WiFi was awful. Other than that, I would stay here again.

Convenient location on a quiet street.
Parking on-site is very limited.

Staff were great but the breakfast was absolutely awful. Juice was spoiled. Bagels and pastries tasted like they had been out for days, the toaster was broken, and it was overall a bad experience at breakfast.

We chose a small room, but we made do with our chosen space. There are larger rooms. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our toilet wand broke and they fixed it immediately. Coffee and tea were available all day. Breakfast is truly continental only with various pastries, breads, cereals and fruit. No eggs or m at, but I believe it’s standard in the town as they want that business to go to some local breakfast places. Our favorite part by far was the availability parking at the inn and the easy walking distance to all major sites, shopping and restaurants. Parking in town is a HUGE problem so staying within walking distance of everything is a MUST. The only complaint for us is although the air conditioning did a good job cooling the room, it did nothing to remove the humidity. Towels would not dry for use the next day but remained damp. Still, I would recommend for the quaintness, comfort, cleanliness, parking and convenient location.

Wow, definitely not worth the price. Room was very noisy, sheets and pillow case had red stains, and conditioner was empty. Staff was very rude on check-in. Not at all what I expected given the cost!

Historic place and in a really good location. A few blocks to the "main strip" but easily walkable. Staff was very nice and we were greeted with a glass of champagne. They put out a nice continental breakfast too. Our only real complaint would be that we were in a room that wasn't part of the main house and the placement of the room being lower in the ground level made it so we couldn't open the blinds with any sort of privacy. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay.

I wanted to give this more stars, but felt like there is much to improve upon.
We had 2 rooms in the building behind the house with the bar. Both were on the first floor. Our entry door was a patio sliding door which is weird and felt a little bit like a safety issue. The room had a strange chemical/moldy smell which we asked about and the cleaning staff said they couldn’t smell anything and didn’t use any special cleaners. Having allergies and asthma makes me super sensitive to these things. The humidity in the room was incredibly high. They need to add a dehumidifier to these rooms so that your sheets don’t feel wet all the time. Our towels never dried since there was so much moisture in the room.
Other than the rooms, the common spaces are really nice. Having 2 outdoor porches for guests was a nice touch. We spent most of our time ehile at the inn on the bar porch. Very nice vibe and comfortable.
I would stay here again but likely request a room in the main inn to avoid the humidity issues.

Location was good for walking down town.
Bedroom on the first floor was right next to the kitchen and we were wakened at 5:00am by the staff, putting out breakfast!
