Really nice property in the middle of the Death Valley. Great location with proximity to several key sights and Furnace Creek Visitor Center. The property is well maintained with a nice pool and gardens. Food options were somewhat limited for vegetarian, gluten free needs.

All facilities are too old, but the room rate is expensive. A lot of noise from a old room air-condition.

Need better wi fi
Would be helpful to have covered parking.
Mike waiter was fabulous
No water day left so had to catch plane without cleaning up. Only gave us $28 off room.

Great hotel overall. The casitas are amazing and very cool to have the golf buggy. The pool area is lovely and just what is needed when it’s super hot. It’s a true oasis as per the photos. However the staff were not the friendliest. The receptionist was strangely unwelcoming when we arrived late at night, the staff in the restaurant for breakfast were surly and and borderline rude. They charge extra for many items at breakfast including good coffee - something I hate when you have paid hundreds for a room. The hotel is 4/5 star but the staff are two star at best.

Located in the Death Valley. Convenient location with short ride to most sights. Food is available on the premises- not great, but better than nothing. It took some time to check-in and to get to the room.

When we arrived at the hotel, the welcome was top-notch... until we were assigned a room which was standing along a corridor with an unbearable sewer/urine stench. When we returned after dinner, the bad smell was still there, and in our room too. We called reception to alert them and their solution was to spray perfume in the room which vanished after a few minutes. We had to sleep the whole night with the smell in our room.

The hotel is correct. The A/C is very noisy.
The main drawback is the restaurant. Very expensive and bad quality food.
This hotel or their sister hotel provide very bad quality food in their restaurant. We had to go to the next village in the valley to get a good meal at a reasonable price.

A really beautiful resort, WiFi is good and room is clean. Also enjoy the swimming pool. I highly recommend the Blood Moon cocktail from the bar on level 3.

Very convenient for a one night stay while passing through Death Valley. The lady at reception (Claire) was very helpful. Nice pool area if it’s not too hot to use and the hotel room was spacious.
Bad points: The service in the restaurant was very poor - when we checked in it was 8.30pm, the restaurant was due to close at 9pm but they wouldn’t seat us despite there being plenty of free tables. We were told we had to sit in the bar area as they didn’t have enough waiting staff. But the nice lady in the bar area was literally run off her feet whilst the head waiter from the restaurant was walking around doing nothing. Very odd experience. The next day at lunch, we had just been served our food and just started to eat when the waiter presented us with the cheque and asked if we could go with him to the till to pay for it straightaway as a shift change was coming up and he needed to get his paperwork in order. We politely declined until we had finished eating…
We had booked a room which included a sofa bed for our two children, although this was clearly stated on the booking, the sofa bed had not been prepared and when we finally got to our room at 10pm, there weren’t even any spare sheets / bedding for us to do it ourselves. We had to wait another half an hour for this to be delivered to the room.
I think the hotel struggled to get staff in August due to the extreme heat but then this should be reflected in the price of the accommodation…

This hotel is a beautiful oasis while visiting Death Valley. Bathroom could offer more space for personal belongings. Close to usual points of interest like Badwater or Zabrieski Point

It's hard to find fault with the place. Maybe it needs more mid-priced food options? I mean...it's a pricy place, but you know that going in.

Very dated hotel. Desperately in need of a rebrand and update.
Dining was very poor. Seemed to give fried potatoes at dinner reheated from previous days and also got them for breakfast. Bacon reheated and inedible.
Casitas were very clean and comfortable
Should have stayed two nights but cut it short.
