I needed somewhere near Gatwick and this was very reasonable, no problems with checking in, very friendly. However as the evening came I found the room quite cold, didn't see a radiator or anything, so I enquired at reception and was told there was an electric heater in the cupboard in the room, when I turned it on (it was an electric fan heater) I found it very noisy but it did warm the room up. I did manage to get some sleep but eventually had to turn heater off, I then was awakened by what I think was the oil heating (I think the boiler must have been right beside my room) turning on every 15/20 minutes.

A cheap and cheerful option when flying from Gatwick airport. A little of the main routes it was still easy to get into Crawley and to get to the airport in about 10 minutes. Was under the flight path of the airport but this was not a significant disruption. Would use again. (The car park was free to hotel guests)

The receptionist saved us more than once, so sweet and professional and the rooms were quaint

Friendly staff on arrival, sadly the room was in a poor state of repair. A socket was hanging off the wall exposing the wires, (though was partially hidden by a wardrobe), the bathroom light was stuck on and the walls were grubby, chipped, and in dire need of a coat of paint as was much of the gloss work.
However, the room was comfortable and the servicing team had clearly done as best a job as possible as the surfaces were clean and dust free.
During my stay there was some shouting in the small hours of the morning, and the hotel is situated directly under the flight path near the end of the runway at Gatwick so noise is to be expected both from early rising guests to get flights and the the jet engines - the price paid for such a close vicinity to the airport.
The grounds were well kept and it was a pleasure to look out onto the lawn first thing.

First time staying at Trivelles greeted by reception staff who were fantastic, very friendly knowledgeable and easy to approach. I would primarily return as the customer service i recieved was far better than i expected. Although so close to Gatwick it is incredibly noisy, but have booked my second stay due to mainly the staff, however i would expect it to be priced a little cheaper as there are no amenities and is very basic

Booked the executive suite but it didn't have any of the facilities advertised. Supposed to be a kitchenette but every single cupboard was empty. One rancid smelling fridge, a kettle, a microwave. No plates, cups, cutlery, stovetop. A mouldy teacup was left in the breakfast area for the duration of our stay. Bed was comfortable though there were stains on the pillows and towels. Directly in flight path so noisy, but you might enjoy the view. Garden looked great, just wish they had some chairs out there

Hotel is cheap and crap. Very basic. Dirty. I stayed there 4 nights for business trip and regret it. My room never been cleaned up in all entire time. Towels never been exchanged. Wals dirty, marks on the bed sheets, spiders and spider webs everywhere. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. I could hear my neighbours in the next rooms. Hotel very close to Gatwick airport what means that you can hear every single plane flying around - really noisy. Breakfast- if you lucky you will get one, very basic- cereal with cold milk and long term croissants... i do not recommend it for a business trip.
Staff very lovely. Nice view from the window.

We booked this due to its proximity to the wedding venue we were attending. The room was very small but clean enough. Breakfast was very basic.

Originally booked this hotel in a rush. Needed something close to the airport. But no one was on call 24/7 so we had to talk to a houskeeling worker to be able to store our bags. Ended up that we were at the wrong trivalles the whole time but the manager at the desk helped us out and thankfully had a room available. Great for a nights sleep, not for a long stay.

Right in the path of Gatwick which means it’s conveniently accessible but unfortunately noisy too.

So carpet was filthy, muddy footprints. Silver fish in shower tray and light fitting. No heat in the room, slept with light on. Disgusting, you have been warned...

Big room, clean comfy bed. Broken dirty tiling in shower, poor water flow to shower, broken bathroom light switch, one bedside lamp with no shade, broken radiator valve ( I fixed this so I could sleep without the window open) Whole thing generally unloved. The poorest continental breakfast I can ever remember. I actually didn't see a soul in the morning. Despite claiming to have a bar and a restaurant there were neither. You can probably gather that I am unlikely to return

This place must make a huge amount of money for very little effort. So for gods sake, do some basic maintenance and show that you care for your customers! No mirror in the bathroom, shower control not working, giving only scolding hot water. Grubby carpet, linen and horrible paintwork. No customer service and damaged fencing in the car park does not inspire any sense of security. The place has an enormous amount of potential for nice getaways or short stays if only guests were not taken for granted.
