The property is old and underwhelming but it is very reflective of the price point. It compares favourably or better to the surrounding properties of the same quality conditions and vintage. Love it’s location along the lakeshore which for me is the strongest draw along with the price as let’s face it I’m there only to sleep! The bed was clean and comfortable and QUIET! Perfect spot for my needs.

ROOMS WERE NICE. STAFF WAS FRIENDLY. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED FOR WHERE I NEEDED TO BE DURING MY STAY. NO SKETCHY PEOPLE HANGING OUT NEARBY. THE SHOWER TILES COULD USE A LITTLE BIT MORE OF A SCRUB IN THE GROUT LINES, BUT OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS PERFECT. WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING

Actually, we had an unsatisfactory stay. When we checked in to our room, the bathroom was not cleaned well,It had a couple of silverfish in the tub.In fact it was sub-par, the tv did work, but there was no hdmi cable to actually have a picture and sound. Had to call maintenance to come to rectify the problem. He was very helpful. No coffee maker, had to go back to the office to get one. And the most unsettling issue was that we discovered a mouse was running around in our suite, and was hiding under the oven the whole evening. Lastly, front desk was closed at 6pm. I've never seen that before.

This place is disgusting! We had a mouse as our roomate no hot or cold water one temperature luke warm. Sofa bed had broken springs. NO housekeeping service bring your own room towels to office for clean ones. Office is closed at 6 pm they leave emergecy number which no one answers. Asking for ice cube trays hilarious brought over two broken to bits plastic ones. Broken outdoor chairs and garbage outside. Don’t waste your precious vacation time here. DUMP.

Good for a night's stay. Right across from the beach. Grimy shower so waited until we got home. Had to plug the coffee maker on the ground to reach the outlet, very annoying.

Spanish Villa was a great 3 night stay. The room was big , bed was comfortable and pillows. Sierra at the desk was amazing and very friendly and courteous. The one complaint was the damn coffee maker lol I just could get it to work the water would not go through the filter and it spilled over every time making a mess.

Very quiet even though it was busy and full of kids. Room was big and clean, but smelled like smokers.

The convenient location right across the street from the beach was why we chose this hotel, as well as the price point. It was reasonably soundproof and we didn't have a problem with noise. We had a ground floor one-bedroom suite with two beds in the bedroom. The beds were soft and the bedding clean. A large dresser, but small closet - bring some hangers. The living room and kitchenette had a good use of space. It was not super equipped like a condo, but had enough cups, cutlery and dishes for four, one saucepan, wine glasses and an opener. It had a small coffee pot with pouches of coffee, a toaster, microwave, full-sized fridge with freezer and a stove.
The only complaint about the space itself was the bathroom. It really needs to be redone. The tub faucet and showerhead are broken down and dated. The grout on the floor is gross, and the towel bar had been ripped off the wall and put back on in an awkward space too low down. No hooks for used towels or space for any spares.
Sierra (I think?) who worked in reception was friendly and helpful. It seemed like she did everything. She was always responsive and upbeat. There was no housekeeping, but you could go to the office to get more towels or coffee, and they sold bags of ice for $2.
For the convenience and price point we would definitely return, in spite of the dated bathroom.

Very expensive for a dingy, old property that is in severe need of renovations. Air conditioner not working and hanging off the wall. Communal ice maker not functional, limited front desk service which closes at 6pm. Suites with a kitchen that don’t have a full set of 4 plates, bowls, cutlery or cookware. Extremely run down and hasn’t seen updates since being built. The cost of the rooms and what you get is ridiculous. Don’t be fooled by the pictures online, that isn’t the room you are getting when you check in.
