This Hotel would be great for someone looking for no-frills accommodations. First the cons :
The walk to the Hotel from the Makishi exit was a little bit more than was stated on the hotels website. (It took us about 10 minutes) Also the sign for the hotel was in japanese making it difficult for english speakers like me to find. The breakfest was the same every day, a change in menu would be nice.
The bed was really hard, a norm for japanese hotels.
Our room could use some repairs, as the carpet was old and torn in some spots.
The walls and ceilings had/needed some patches.
Also THERE WAS NO A/C in our room. It was really hot/humid when we stayed (january). I don't know if January was still considrered winter and the hotel turned off the whole a/c system or if was only our room.
I did not understand what the front desk clerk was telling me.
They directed me to use a standing fan.
For me personally, a standing fan cannot replace a/c.
I feel they should have comped me the daily breakfast that I was charged Y500 per person/day.
If you are happy with basic accomodations this is for you.

This hotel is really clean, and this was my second time staying there. The building is a little old, but everything has been updated, and they have good services and kind staff. I will stay here again! Also, the free breakfast bento is really nice. It is not like other hotels where you have to pay extra to get a "free breakfast." Anybody staying here can get one for free. Also, the location on Kokusai Dori (International Avenue) really is fantastic. There are other hotels on the same street, but usually at a much greater cost.

This is an ideal location. The room was small -- but just right for a solo traveler. The building seems old, but moderately well maintained. It was a good value.

Staff were very helpful and some were multilingual. We were able to check in early which was really pleasing and we also had to add 2 extra nights at very short notice due to Typhoon Tapah. The hotel were very flexible about this and we were able to keep the same room throughout which was pleasing. The room was large and the bathroom a fair size but one glaring omission was the lack of storage space for clothes - wardrobes / shelves etc. There were none at all. The hotel was right in the middle of party town / street but despite this it was not at all noisy. Being in this position it was great for shopping, restaurants and travel solutions (taxis, buses and monorail). Opposite to the hotel was Don Quixote superstore. A mindbogglingly large and stocked megastore where you could buy EVERYTHING - at least 8 times!! This was 24 hours too so you would never be without supplies just a few footsteps away. In summary the room / hotel was quite basic but was comfortable and good value for money. Recommended.

Hotel locates right on 国際通り(Kokusai dori), the most teeming street in the city, so you may not expect a really quiet environment even inside the hotel room... on the other hand it's indeed convenient for staying in Naha city, 0 mins walking to Kokusai dori and 20 mins walking to Naha Bus Terminal.
The wi-fi works great in my room too.
