Hotel is good value for a short stay. Pool is a welcomed addition. Breakfasts are decent (coffee is instant!). Room was cleaned during our 3 night stay. We had no issues with AC and hot water throughout our stay. Our friend had a question and had to wait over a day to be able to find the owner.
Alley across the street brings directly to the beach.

I’m surprised over the positive reviews on this hotel. It’s a bit dirty and there was a very sour smell of the mattress in our room. Also the lady who worked there was wearing extremely dirty clothes, like long time old dirty, that you have worn for a very long time, to get that kind dirty. They were friendly when we checked in. We found another hotel and left the same day, even though we had prepaid for several nights. We could not stay and sleep and enjoyed our holiday as, we prefer nice surroundings to relax in. We did not give a reason for leaving as it was a very uncomfortable situation, and I’m only writing this review to warn other travelers as I think the reviews are not painting the right picture of this hotels.

This is a fabulous private hotel, only has about 5 rooms. It is immaculately clean, well organised and comfortable. Even though it is on the main road, our room was at the back of the house and fairly quiet.
A short 300m walk to Goyambokka beach, which is a beautiful little beach with a few simple restaurants where you could eat some excellent seafood. We had lunch and dinner there on the same day, and went back for lunch the next day!
A 3+km walk into Tangalle, but it’s very easy to catch a bus or Tuk Tuk in.
A nice breakfast was served on the terrace, fruit, toast, jam, eggs, pancakes, noodles, and sometimes hoppers and curry.
Air con and fan worked well and plenty of hot water. There was a small fridge and fully equipped kitchen if you wanted to prepare your own food.
