I have to admit I am a bit disappointed this time. I have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times before and have been very pleased but this time I am not. To begin with the room was on the bottom floor a few doors from the front desk. A number of times a day people or staff were very noisy especially early in the morning. Next, the cable TV was not working and twice I had to report it before it was fixed properly. Finally, the room was not properly cleaned the bathroom was filthy. There was shampoo but no soap available. I expect better than this.

Photos are misleading. The room didn’t have a window. The door lock was cheap and insecure, it smelt of damp. There wasn’t even a bottle of water. The surrounding area had no facilities and it meant a taxi ride to do anything. It was like a cheap $10 guesthouse in rural Cambodia.

I highly recommend this hotel. It is located on a semi private street and is very close a lot of things to do. Finally the price was very reasonable.

It was a business trip and the budget is limited so we got a really good deal with this one. The location is near a small mall but is quite far from the center.

great location, close to CFO where I was conducting my business in Cebu, worked out fine... clean room friendly staff

Hotel staff were very accomodating and attentive with your needs. Location wise one of the best in Cebu (plus directly across the famous Pungko-pungko). A very welcome addition to the stay was the early check in without extra charge. Excellent over all. Will definitely come back.

Staff are great, but the room stinks! First impression upon walking into the room is a horrible stale smell, no circulation, toilet and shower are featuring black mold! Beds are small and nothing like the photo on the "purchase this room" photo!
Much better to stay at the Mango Park Hotel for the same price.

Been staying here a few times and i enjoy this hotel very much. Staff recognize me. It is close to shopping and everything else i need. I recomend this hotel for families, couples or travelling alone. They have nice breakfast at roof top wich i enjoy and can have nice dinner in the evening when it is cooler and really nice there.

The service was great. I had an appointment in Cfo and it was just a 2 to 3-minute walk to their office which is extremely convenient.
In contrast, the bathroom needs to be cleaned thorougly as there were strands of tiny hair in the shower. Also, I found 2 strands of hair under the sheet! It was awful. Besides the fact that the room was moderately cleaned, it was haunted. We woke up at around 1 am because we smelled something awful. It was like a dead fish or something rotten. We prayed and it disappeared after a few minutes. It was really weird and we can really sense a presence. The energy was heavy. Good thing I was already finished with my appointment so we decided to check out instantly at around 3am. Pls have your rooms checked with a priest. It was in the 3rd floor with a number 6.

Its an ok hotel if you are passing through Cebu and want to be close to an area with live music. The rooms are ok but do need updating but for the price it is fine for one or two days. The breakfast was also ok and the staff was very helpful.

Some late night nightclubs nearby but not much else in the area. Pretty much just urban.

Very nice staff. The room was not real nice, 2 single matresses to make a queen, not good neighborhood, safe but dingy and homeless people skeeping nearby. It was close to mango sq which was nice. Ok for a night or two if on a budget

have stayed at this hotel since it first opened in 2008 - its a good value hotel - newer than most of the old pension houses in Cebu - has nice rooftop restaurant and the wifi is good - but strongest in the lobby as usual .
The owner Ma beth owns another one in Cagayan De Oro- but thats not as budget price as this one in Cebu . They still have the ground floor double room for P999 per night - so if you are planning a week stay - this one is the one to get for ecomony .
Every room has free breakfast which is nice - the american breakfast is ok bacon + scambled eggs and toast .
Staff are very honest and polite - there is a safe in the reception for valuables - money passports etc - this is one hotel in the phil where you can trust the staff . its walking distance to robinsons mall , fuente circle , mango square , very conveinent - there is BPI atms , jollibee , McDo and a caltex all withn a short stroll - taxis out the front regular , Its also off the main road so you dont get hassled by beggers and salesmen like you do at the casino hotel on the corcle
