The Island View Guesthouse is in an amazing location to watch the sunrise, sunset and all the happenings in Charlotte Amalie harbor. Libby, Marshal and the rest of the staff were very attentive and helpful. We’d highly recommend staying here.

Nice view, very expensive for limited meals, no real snacks when the cook isn’t available. They only had limited meals, the cook leaves at 10am after breakfast. There’s no grill, has like 6 rooms, wifi don’t work, and no atm machine. Never again!!!!!!

I have to mention first, Dinner at the island guesthouse was amazing! We stayed for 8 days and couldn't have had a nicer stay. marshall (Michelin cook/host) and Libby were so nice and accommodating when it came to breakfast and anything else. The honor bar system was so clutch during late nights when most places are closed; they have a great bar selection, and the pina colada mix was a-1. Hopefully my review makes sense because there are so many good things to point out about staying here. Marshall and Libby were great hosts with great conversation and a welcoming relaxed vibe; they gave us insight to the inner workings on the island as potential property owners. But by far the best things I've experienced on this trip was dinner prepared by Marshall at their in-house steak restaurant (Tues-Sat only). Dinner was great but the standout of the entire night was most definitely the "Smoked Tomato Caesar Salad" w/little gems, pecorino, breadcrumbs, fish sauce. This dressing needs to be bottled and sold immediately; amazing! give me 14 of them right now lol! The smokey tomato flavor, the slight saltiness of the fish sauce, it was perfect. Tomato in Caesar was a super genius creation. Not to forget, the Swordfish Katsu Bites w/sriracha, scallions, and housemade furikake, like what!!!?! The crunch, the flavor, the texture, the everything! No salt, pepper or any kind of condiments needed when they are cooking. And their was Ube Cheesecake! I ran out characters but so much more to say

Enjoyed our stay at this quiet, beautiful property. The guest room was so comfortable and the check in process very simple. The owners are onsite and made our entire experience so wonderful! The food was exceptional and enjoyed from the beautiful breezeway overlooking the ocean. An honor bar and lounge area were welcoming as well. We will be back!

Verry nice, great view.

Requires taxi for all transportation. Nothing within walking distance for example beaches, restaurants, grocery stores or convenient stores. $30-$40 per trip to and fro. It is located in the hills very steep one way roads. Taxi dropped us off several times requiring walk up steep driveway. This is not for someone with a wheelchair, handicap or difficulty walking.

Staying was better than staying with family. Took advantage of the pool daily. Breakfast was wonderful and they catered to a picky eater. I felt well taken care of.

Loved staying there. Beautiful views! Rooms were very clean. The only complaint I have is breakfast being served is the same every day. Hopefully they can provide more of a variety in the future.

Ms. Libby and Mr. Marshall were perfect hosts. I'm so glad i met them. I booked the last room in Jan, for my stay in May for St. Thomas Carnival 2024! The overall experience was an awesome one. Our 2nd time on the island, the first time we were with a group of 12, this time with 2. I was nervous with us being on the island without much knowledge of those we met the 1st time, but this time around we met friends for life. Everyone we met was so friendly. We stayed in Room #2. Awesome view!! Directly in front of the pool. Directly under the upstairs eating area. One of the reasons why i booked was the "free breakfast" option which is very hard to find. Ms. Libby helped us with finding affordable/ trustworthy transportation. I'm so very grateful for that. Food was good, they offered dinner Thu-Sat evenings, which is a plus. Our room was comfortable and clean. My sister mentioned that the Netflix didn't work, i didn't try using it. In comparisons to my 1st visit on the island, i had virtually NO service, with and without using the provided wifi. Not sure if it had anything to do with Carnival, but if thats something you're concerned about on your relaxing vacation... then so be it. Overall, awesome experience. Can't wait to stay and visit again. Ms. Libby and Mr. Marshall, you two and your staff are quite wonderful. You're doing awesome with your new ownership of the property. Keep up the good work and continue being positive amongst the negativity. Until we meet again...

Well where do I start? Walked the the bathroom it was a plunger with old toilet paper from the last time it was used. This made the smell in the bathroom horrible. Staff did come in when we were not there and washed the plunger off. My fiancee discovered a blood stain in the towel after using it. Staff said it wasn't blood, but a stain. If you wash a garment with blood on it doesn't it turn into a stain? The AC unit barley blew out any air. Our intention when we got there were to book the room for another 2 days. I'm so glad we waited until we got there. Of course we didn't book the other 2 days. We went to bluebeards Castle and it was such a relief.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and couldn’t have been more pleased with this quaint beautiful hotel. The view is amazing and waking up to the perfect breakfast each day is second to none. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the island. Would absolutely recommend.

The stay was for a night and it was very good. Bed was perfect. Not too soft, not too hard. The tv was a roku tv and they owners had their netflix setup already for those who do not have an account. That was nice of them. It is a clean place, has a balcony, AC, and the view was great. Only thing I didn't like was the shower being open, other than that I recommend this spot.

We loved our stay! The views were amazing, the food was exceptional and the pool was a welcome relief. The open air public space overlooking the Bay was a nice, quiet place for reading, meals or enjoying a coffee. The owners were fully engaged and welcoming. We would certainly stay here again!
