About this cottage rental
As light fades, drift to four simple, pretty bedrooms in soothing tones. Two twin bedrooms are unfussy and comfortable, with good linen. A traditional well-dressed pastel blue room has sweeping views and an ensuite. The other double room has patio doors out to a sheltered terrace, so fling open the doors to make the most of the breezes. After a day hiking or wild swimming, the other family bathroom, and a walk-in shower room (accessible for disabled guests) make for a drenching refresh.
The living room is a colourful joy. Vast windows have an indulgent number of cushions - the place to be to soak in the views. Snuggle up and play games if it's a wild day or just gaze out. Windswept and romantic, the rugged Trearddur coast is spectacular with many coves and caves. Sprawl in the garden on sunny days or pack a picnic and head by foot for endless fine beaches. Walkers have the coast path to join a few yards from the door for bracing walks to Rhoscolyn or to Porthdafach. Kayakers can drop into B-Active at Rhoscolyn for lessons or hire a paddleboard from Blu Chameleon in the village. Surfers head for Rhosneigr down the coast. Sailors can launch from Porth Diana a few minutes away by foot and then bob along the Trearddur coast (famous for its sailing club and waters).
Plenty of room in the garden for boats, and the fishing is superb. So, there is no excuse –a roasted lobster is a must. Or a fish and chip supper at Scarlet's in Trearddur Bay. The Sea Shanty has ice cream treats and more. Ocean's Edge is perfectly placed on the beach to treat yourselves to a fabulous cocktail and a stroll back for supper. The local golf course is down the road. RSPB Cymru Ynys Lawd (South Stack RSPB) is a puffin spotter's delight also on sea cliffs down the road. The cakes are a worthy reward after the many steps needed to view the famous lighthouse.
Drop off the buckets and spades by the door, return to your beautiful space on the patio and unwind.
