Traditional house in the old village "οld Port Fira". Right under Caldera, it comprises of 2 apartments, open plan, with two levels each, one double bed on ground level and one bed on the internal floor, renovated in 2023 to host 8-10 pers. in 4 double beds & 3 baths, plus two safas. Each apt., w separate entrance & small terrace, has high, arched ceilings & internal loft.
Apt 1, open plan, ground fl., has 2 double beds, 2 baths and a couch, equipped kitchennete, living space & patio viewing the street & the tourist & donkey traffic.
Apt 2, open plan, upper, has 2 double beds, 1 bath & couch, small terrace viewing volcano & sea.
Both included in the price.
A unique experience to travel in time on Santorini, with street and traffic and donkey views from the lower level and its private patio, and magestic sea, volcano and sunset views from the upper level, with a balcony allowing you to enjoy the views.
Our village and the house are accessible by:
1. Cable Car from Fira, the capital of Santorini. The ride lasts 2minutes and during summer it operates from 7.30 toCost 6euros per person per ride
2. The stairs path from the Old Port to Fira. Accessible 24/7 all year. Free
3. Ferry from the main port, Athinio. If you arrive by boat from Piraeus, you can catch the local boat on Tuesdays and Fridays at noon. You will arrive to the old port in 10minutes. Then, you will only need to walk about 22meters from the ferry to the house.
4. Donkey right outside the door, with a cost of 10euros per ride per person.
5. Speedboat or Sea Taxieuros per ride for all, depending on time of day, distance and number of persons.
6. There is a daily speedboat to Oia from the old port. Last trip at 15.00
7. There are daily cruises to the Volcano, Thirasia, Oia, the Hot Springs, with traditional Kaiki-boats. All of the cruises start at the old port, where you will live.
