Un très bon séjour.

Très bon accueil. La chambre est propre, la literie est confortable. Pyjamas et chaussons fournis. Produits de toilette disponibles en libre service au niveau de l'accueil ainsi que des sachets de thé ou café. Petit-déjeuner japonais sous forme de buffet.

Il n'y a pas de rangements à part une penderie et pas la place de laisser les valises ouvertes. Il y a du bruit dans la rue mais la fenêtre est bien isolante.

Bien, dommage que la chambre soit trop petite

L'hotel est bien placé, juste à coté d'une station de métro /gare locale. Il est calme, pas de bruit de rue, ni de couloir. Il y a un resto dans l'hôtel (que nous n'avons pas testé). Il y a beaucoup de petits resto autour, et comme l'hôtel n'est pas dans un passage touristique, les resto sont sympa, traditionnels, et peu cher (je vous conseil le resto de viande juste à coté en sous-sol)

La chambre est petite (12m2) et le lit double est assez petit également (Nous sommes un couple assez mince et donc ça va nous avons fait avec). Le lit est colé au mur et donc pas d'espaces pour les bras. Idem salle de bain trop petite.

Location is very good, you have several subway options near by. Also there are a lot of restaurants and malls. Room is pretty small, but just for sleeping is ok.

Breakfast - quite often you need to wait for refills, especially for bred when they were out of stock sometimes.

Convenient location in a quieter ward

Convenient location: the hotel is a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho JR station and on the Hanzomon metro line which made it convenient to get to most major sights in the city. Sumida City is a calmer ward, a bit less touristy, but it suited our preferences. It's about a 20 or 30-minute walk to the Skytree and probably a 40 minute walk to Taito City ward where the Senso-ji temple is. Kappo Kinari is a hidden gem sushi restaurant super accommodating and hospitable to tourists. But beware, as this is a less touristy area overall, some sushi restaurants are not as accessible in that they require that you book ahead or speak Japanese to be able to dine there. There are a couple of shopping malls within walking distance. Lots of other food options, too. Room was tight but was as expected. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and large.

Front desk staff were kind and called restaurants on our behalf to book reservations, although not all were super well-versed in English, so asking for directions and other help was a bit tricky on a couple of occasions.

I loved the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the place

I did not enjoy how the laundry facilities had only two washer and dryer, we had to find a laundry mat to do our washing as the hotel facility was always busy and not available for us to use.

A pleasant stay in the heart of Kinshicho

I stayed here for one week. It is a very clean room, with wonderful and polite staff, in a vibrant area of Kinshicho. I had a wonderful experience.

My standard room was very small as I had expected. Everything worked well, and the cleaning staff did a wonderful job int cleaning.

Satisfied with the stay, dont mind going back

Very clean, friendly staffs and good location. Short walk to train station, and plenty of food and shopping options nearby.

Its quite small, so it was a hassle when we were packing/unpacking our luggages.

Hotel Sotetsu Kinchischo review

The security of the hotel and welcoming staff.

Size of room was small so we asked for a bigger room as we were staying 7 nights. A little far from centre of Tokyo but train and bus station very close and Airport bus very near. The breakfast was ok.

Highly recommend and will return

Kinshicho is always proper area to stay in Tokyo, close to everything and not being too crowded in such a big city. Clean and everything is great. Love the staff being so friendly! Decent breakfast.

Being the fact of visiting Tokyo every year, it’s not first day to know the room dimension is small, with 2 ppl in one room barely have no space, next time will order each a room :))

Excellent service by the staff

The staff were very helpful and friendly especially Gen Gama San. He personally led us to the train station that goes to the airport very that morning at 6.30am on his night shift. Gama San even prepared a file containing print out map guides to make sure we’re on the right train and on time for our flight departure.

The rooms are very tight and we hardly have space for our luggages. There’s no drinking water in the rooms.
