Under new management with Emmons Realty, this charming 2-bedroom cottage, nestled in the heart of the historic Kings Terrace neighborhood, offers the perfect retreat for your island getaway. With its quaint and cozy atmosphere, Bertie’s Nest is ideal for a weekend escape or a week-long adventure.

Prime Location: Just a mile from the St. Simons Village Area, Lighthouse, and Pier, Bertie’s Nest is perfectly situated for exploring the island. It’s an easy walk to the Village, where you’ll find an array of restaurants, bars, and shops. Whether you’re craving fresh seafood at Iguanas, a delicious burger at Brogen’s, or something casually elevated at Half Shell, the Village has something for everyone. After dinner, enjoy a drink and live music at The Village Inn and Pub, or head to Palm Coast for excellent coffee, great food, and live entertainment, including open mic nights and local bands.
Comfortable Accommodations: The cottage features two well-appointed bedrooms, each with a Queen-sized bed, ceiling fan, and beautiful hardwood floors. A spacious, updated full bathroom with a walk-in shower and built-in bench is conveniently located between the two bedrooms.
Well-Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen comes fully stocked with all the essentials, including a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and ample counter space. The dining table comfortably seats four, making it easy to enjoy home-cooked meals during your stay.
Multiple Living Spaces: Relax in either of the two separate living rooms. The front living room offers cozy seating, a 32" flat-screen TV, and a ceiling fan, perfect for unwinding after a day of island adventures. The larger living room, which doubles as a sunroom, features a 42" TV, ceiling fan, and a futon for additional sleeping space. This area also includes a half bath and a laundry room for your convenience.

Cancellation Policy:
60+ days from arrival - 100% refund
31-60 days from arrival - 50% refund
0-30 days from arrival – 0% refund
Inside of 60 days, reservations cannot be rescheduled for any reason
Cancellations will be charged a $65 cancellation fee
(without exception, even for same-day cancellations)
To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.
Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, and all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.
