About this house rental
Beaumont at Freycinet is in a league of its own. Situated inside the National Park and only 100m from the start of the world-renowned Wineglass Bay walking track, the shack has a cosy retro 70’s style and can sleep up to 6 guests in comfort. The property offers the peace and privacy of a treetop bush setting but is only a 2-minute walk to the picturesque Parsons Cove Beach a great place to relax and unwind while enjoying fabulous water and mountain views.
On arrival at this special property, you will be struck by its unique location and peaceful bush setting. It is one of only a handful of traditional Tasmanian style holiday homes located inside the National Park and the main sounds you’ll hear, apart from birdsong and other native wild life, will be the water lapping on the nearby foreshore or the wind blowing gently in the surrounding she-oak trees. Your property is literally a 100m walk from the start of the famous Wineglass Bay walking track and a great base from which to explore the Freycinet Peninsula. It is also only a 2-minute stroll from your doorstep down to the gorgeous Parsons Cove Beach - a hidden gem where you can swim, snorkel, paddle or try your hand at catching a fish or two for dinner. With the feel of a private beach and largely undiscovered, you will often have this stunning spot on the sheltered side of the Freycinet coast to yourself.
As you enter the upstairs living space you will notice the colourful retro “Tassie shack” décor, original timber framed picture windows, the surrounding treetops and stunning views of both the granite capped mountains and Parsons Cove Beach. The sunny lounge room and living space has a warm and cosy 70’s retro vibe making for a very romantic stay for couples or for the extended family. The living space opens out onto a huge sunny deck built with beautiful Spotted Gum timber. You can enjoy those lazy afternoons relaxing on the sun lounges, snuggling into the bean bags with a good book, or perched at the outside bar tables taking in the breath-taking views or enjoying a well-earned drink after a day on the beach or bushwalking. Below the deck you will often be greeted by some of Tasmania’s more common native mammals such as wallabies, pademelons, potoroos and brush-tail possums, while harder to spot wombats, Eastern quolls and echidnas can be found in the nearby bush. The local birdlife includes green rosellas, yellow tailed Black Cockatoos, sea eagles, yellow wattlebirds and the odd owl at night.
The property has three generous sized bedrooms with new queen beds throughout. All the bedrooms have stunning views of the Hazards Mountains which are ever changing in the sunlight and weather patterns, so waking up to these views is something very special to enjoy.
If you want to experience an authentic Tasmanian East Coast holiday with peace and quiet, privacy, stylish retro décor and a unique location within one of the world’s most beautiful National Parks then Beaumont at Freycinet will not disappoint. The property is a brand-new listing so be quick to book for those memorable getaways.
