About this house rental
North End Cottage is a beautiful cottage in the sought-after village of Blakeney. The cottage boasts modern and bright interiors, with parking fo 2 cars and a large enclosed garden, a rarity in Blakeney!
The open-plan kitchen and dining space is flooded with natural light as you walk in, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an extended ceiling with sky lights aiding this. The modern kitchen is fitted with all amenities you may need whilst on a self-catering holiday, including a wine fridge and De’Lhongi coffee machine. Some of the features of the kitchen include a 50/50 American Fridge Freezer, induction hob and integrated dishwasher. There is also a 32” smart TV and a Bose Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen for all your musical wants whilst cooking and socialising.
The separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer and is an added benefit as it allows for more storage and space through the kitchen. There is a downstairs W/C attached to the laundry room.
The sitting room boasts a 50” smart television and a wood burner for cosy winter evenings. The comfortable sofas and selection of family games make this room family friendly and extremely welcoming to guests.
The en-suite ground floor bedroom offers a offers a zip and link bed which can either be made as two twin beds or a king-size bed (please give us at least 2 week’s notice of your arrival date for your preferred bed configuration and the large windows allow plenty of light to flood through, making this room a pleasant and comfortable room to be in.
The first bedroom on the first floor offers a comfortable king-size bedroom with plenty of clothes storage space and homely details throughout. As with the downstairs bedroom, this room is light and airy.
The second bedroom has adouble bed with a single bunk bed above, perfect as a family room or equally as perfect as a double room. This single bed can be booked at an additional cost.There is plenty of storage in the bedroom and views into the garden and surrounding area make this bedroom a lovely place to inhabit. The family bathroom which is shared by the first and second bedroom has both a shower and a bath which adds to the versatility of the property.
The en-suite master bedroom is an opulent and magnificent room. The King Bed, paired with the huge amount of clothes storage, 32” smart TV and snug reading corner add to the boutique, cosy feeling of this bedroom with added luxury details. The copper bath and copper touches through the en-suite bath and shower room add to the luxurious feel.
The garden at North End Cottage features an L shaped outdoor sofa with cushions, two stools and table for 8 guests to sit at. There are two sun loungers and a boules and croquet set in the shed for guests entertainment. This garden is an added bonus to this already delightful, stylish property and will make a perfect base to create some wonderful memories with friends and family.
North End Cottage has an electric car charger for guests use.
A high-spec 7-seater Jacuzzi Hot Tub Spa is available for our guests to enjoy. For all bookings starting on a Saturday or Bank Holiday there is an additional £60 for use of the hot tub.
The hot tub is emptied and professionally cleaned between each booking, so please be aware that the water may not be fully heated upon your arrival; it can take up to 24hours to reach the optimum temperature.
*Please note, not all cottages with a woodburner supply logs for guests.
*£250 refundable security deposit
A few things to note on your departure....
We do hope you enjoy your stay in beautiful North Norfolk!!
Please remember the lovely cottages and barns we are able to offer are our owners individual holiday homes and therefore ask that you look after them and leave them as you would your own. Whilst we do not expect our guests to carry out a full clean on departure we respectfully request that properties are left, as much as possible, as they are found: Below are a few reminders on how to leave the property on your departure.
It would be most kind if you would run the vacuum cleaner over the floors andcarpets especially if you and your family or pets have brought any sand ordebris inside.All crockery, glass ware, pots and pans etc should be returned clean and totheir correct cupboards. If the dishwasher is still running when you leave, noproblem, but please do not leave any washing up for us to do!Please put any furniture, ornaments, games etc that you have moved duringyour stay back to where you found them.We do try as much as possible to be a pooch friendly company! In return weask that doggie owners must clean up all evidence of their pets stay bothinternally and externally.Please do not allow your dogs on any furniture or beds and please put anythrows that are not especially intended for dogs out of the way so they do notget hairy. Please use your own throws/blankets to protect furnishings etc.from your doggies.
Please double check all of your own property has been packed. A special reminder to check you have all phone/ipad/laptop chargers - you would be amazed how many we are asked to find each week!If you find you have left something in the cottages on your return home don’t fret!! Make sure you phone us straight away and we will endeavor to find whatever it is and post it back to you. The charge for this is a minimum £15 plus P&P. Unfortunately due to lack of excess storage we can only keep items for 2 weeks.Please ensure that all internal bins are emptied and note that the green recycling bins will only take paper and cardboard, glass, plastic containers and tins.Whilst we do leave a few lights on in the property to make sure it is welcoming for your arrival we do ask that you ensure all lights at the property, both internal and external, are switched off before you leave.Please ensure that the last thing you do before you leave the property is endure that all windows are shut and where possible lock and that all of the external doors to the property are securely locked.
The house you are staying in is checked before your arrival and upon your departure by either the owner or a member of The Blakeney Cottage Company housekeeping team. Each of our properties has an individual average cleaning time and unfortunately we do have to charge guests back if the properties are left in a way that extends that average cleaning time. In the same way if any damage caused by spillages or neglect is found it will be charged back to guests. On the unusual occasion that this is the case, photos will be emailed to you detailing the problem with the time and charges required to put it right.
