About this house rental
Colorful, sun-filled, and beautifully-decorated two-story house with large, fenced-in yard right off Broadway in the Midtown Arts District of Kingston. This clean, uncluttered two-bedroom oozes good vibes and easy living, with nice views out the windows, healthy plants, and inspiring art. Great for couples or a small family/friend group, and outfitted for up to 2 dog guests to have a safe, pleasant stay. Equipped with a large cook's kitchen and everything you need to make or serve a great meal (a Weber charcoal BBQ grill is available in the warm months). Central heat and AC, Wifi, a dedicated office area, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, and private parking round out the conveniences of a great home base. There's a full bath with a bathtub and shower on the ground floor, and a half bath on the second floor, where both sleeping areas are.
Set the mood with music from the vintage stereo receiver with attachments for your streaming device, and relax outside on the back deck, or by the back yard fire pit. Upstairs in the living room settle back into mid-century modern inspired style on the chaise lounge and enjoy reading or flipping through the many art books, design magazines, and non-fiction, or settle in for a cozy movie night streaming your media accounts on the Fire stick TV. This room doubles as the second bedroom, and the L-shaped sofa converts into two, roomy XL twin beds with good, "medium-firm" back support.
This nature and arts lover's base has plenty of space to relax indoors and outside, in a prime location to explore Kingston's beautiful and historic Stockade and Midtown Arts districts. Walk to great cafes, rail trails, restaurants, Ulster Performing Arts Center, and the Farmer's Market, or wander over to Keegan Ale's for music or trivia night! The house is a 5-minutes drive from I-87 and Rt. 28, and within 15 minutes of many beautiful and historic Hudson Valley villages such as Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Stone Ridge and Rosendale, and within 35 minutes of Catskills hiking/skiing destinations in Tannersville/Hunter, Woodstock, Phoenicia, Mt. Tremper, and Pine Hill.
