Casa Lucia met all our requirements, especially the rural detached location ,complete privacy and easy access to our favourite areas, nearby shopping choices, and the best sand dune beaches you could wish to find, all within a 15 /20 minute drive away. A fantastic private pool area and terrace overlook extensive landscaped grounds and wooded gardens populated by many species of birds.The property itself offers secure, spacious comfortable relaxation with flexible accommodation and a high standard of equipment and furnishings, everything you could want in fact. Das Haus ist eins zu eins wie im Inserat. Es ist mega ausgestattet, wirklich alles da was man braucht. Wir hatten ein Auto und waren damit auch dementsprechend mobil, was dort auch echt von Vorteil ist. Es gib Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und auch der Strand ist mit dem Auto super zu erreichen. Allem in allem eine super schöne Anlage die zentral liegt und echt eine Oase für groß und klein bietet. Absolut empfehlenswert.

We stayed here for a week, returning home to the UK today. From start to finish we all enjoyed our time at this villa. It is big enough so that no-one is ever under anyones feet. There are all the commodities that you would find in your own home which makes it the perfect place to stay. The only thing we will say (and mainly as we had teenagers in our group) is that the Villa is advertised with WiFi. We assumed that this was included which it wasn’t so we ended up paying extra. Maybe this needs to be changed on the listing. The pool was perfect and the surroundings just beautiful. Would definitely stay here again

Our stay in this villa was thoroughly enjoyed. The setting was perfect and very private. The house has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. Fully fitted kitchen and linen cupboard. The house is very spacious and can accommodate large groups without feeling cramped.

Overall we had a lovely family stay, great pool size and it has all you need. Little outdated and will need little maintenance soon.

Villa très agréable, conforme aux photos, très propre et bien équipée. Vue sur un jardin très arboré, grande piscine, extérieur très plaisant. Villa très bien située pour la découverte de l´algarve. Propriétaire disponible et agréable.

Ruime villa, alles was aanwezig, bv wasmachine, afwasser, genoeg servies ed. Het tweepersoonsbed was redelijk goed, andere 2 kamers hadden eenpersoonsbedden. De achtertuin is een lust voor het oog, het zwembad heerlijk! Minpuntje kleine stoeltjes niet fijn voor hele dag zitten op het terras. Een auto heb je echt nodig voor het boodschappencentrum en de restaurants “ Fonte de Pedra” was een geweldig goed restaurant.

La casa es preciosa, grande y cómoda. Lo mejor, la piscina.La propietaria lo deja todo muy bien explicado, lo cual ayuda mucho. El entorno es muy tranquilo, aunque se oye la autopista. Hemos estado muy a gusto.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday. The swimming pool was great as was the two sheltered areas to sit as it certainly was very hot. I would agree with everything the previous reviewer has said and would certainly recommend this villa. Anne-Sophie was always very quick at answering any queries and the instructions she sent were very clear and thorough..

We have just returned from a two week holiday at this villa and we all had a fabulous time. The accommodation was clean and well appointed. It had everything you would need for a self catering holiday. . Before departure I received a detailed overview from the owner on it's location & information about the villa and to have a bottle of water, wine, milk and some bread on arrival was a nice touch "thank you". Loved the coffee machine and again it was nice to see some pods ready to use on arrival. We purchased some more pods at the local supermarkets and left about 8 so that the next guests would have some too ;-). The pool area is private and south facing with sun all day long but has plenty shaded area's & parasols are provided along with comfortable sun loungers. The pool itself has a gradual slope with a deeper area for those who like to dive in. The BBQ had everything you need in terms of charcoal & utensils.so eating in the evening with the pool lights on was very relaxing indeed. Wifi is available but is on a pay per GB & coverage at the villa was very good and switched it on and off as and when you needed to. We located a shop within Alvor town and all you need to do is take a photo of the information in the villa concerning in the WIFI and tell them how much you wish to load and they will do this for you. I know people don't go on holiday to watch TV but as others have mentioned, the channels are somewhat limited so we did take a few DVD's just in case. We had a car but a taxi into Alvor was approx 10-13 euros each way and about 10 mins. We know the location well and there are plenty of restaurants, water parks, beaches & attractions within a few miles radius. We would highly recommend this villa to couples & families looking for a relaxing holiday. Many thanks for the use of your home.

We have just returned from a week in this villa and I wish we could have stayed longer. When we first booked we thought there were a lot of instructions to follow but that is just because the owner has thought of everything. On getting there we were really pleased to find some essentials left for us (bread, water and milk) very thoughtful. The villa is like a home away from home and we were very comfortable. We had a hire car and used that most times we went out but on the couple of occasions we used the recommended taxi service they were very prompt and it cost approximately €12 for a people carrier into Alvor centre. Photographs don't do the villa justice as it's much larger than it looks. If you are taking children who like the TV I would recommend you take some dvds as the satellite TV is french. All in all a perfect villa for a relaxing family or group holiday with bars and restaurants within easy reach.

We had the most relaxing holiday in Casa Lucia last July. The villa is very comfortable, relaxing with all the added extras and mod cons to make the holiday very enjoyable. As a family of five we had a wonderful holiday, the villa had plenty of space, the pool was great, an outside barbeque made dining in easy and the garden was so relaxing that we did not need to leave the villa some days until the evening for a stroll in Alvor or nearby ports. The villa was an ideal location close to the beaches but located on higher ground with a lovely view and in tranquil surroundings. The owner was very helpful with information to hand on all facilities at the villa and on local attractions. We really enjoyed the holoiday and plan to return in the future.

Great location as well with everything close at hand, a car is essential though.The owners are a delight to deal with.

Photos did not do this villa justice, it was far prettier and much bigger than we expected. Excellent location, easy to find. Wonderful south facing pool and pretty laid out gardens with high degree of privacy. The place felt very homely and airy with high ceilings and air con. Liked it so much we spent the first 6 days at the villa and chilled out. Owner was very well organised and helped out with any queries I had prior to and during the holiday. She was a delight to deal with and made the holiday that much smoother. Would definitely recommend this villa for a real taste of 'R & R'.

This was our second visit to Casa Lucia, it's such a relaxing place to stay, very quiet but convenient for shops and good restaurants. Alvor is just a ten minute drive away and the villa is situated in a good central position in the Algarve. The villa itself is comfortable and clean. The garden and pool excellent. We needed to contact the villa owner on a couple of occasions and she was very kind and helpful.

The Villa was fantastic, well furnished and equip with everything we could possibly need. More than enough room for our family of 4 and could easily accommodate a larger party. The pool and gardens were beautiful and it was very peaceful. Great location if you have a car, lovely beaches and large choice of restaurants within a 10-15 mins drive. We have rented villas for the last 5 summer holidays and this was by far the nicest. If we return to Portugal we would definitely look at staying again.
