About this house rental
Unlike other properties, our bungalow "Minster Chimes" is genuinely located close to the centre of the historic market town of Beverley. It is only 5 minutes’ walk to numerous shops, restaurants and public houses. There are good rail and bus links to Hull (City of Culture 2017), York and the Yorkshire coast. No car required!
Sleeps 4 in two double bedrooms with plenty of storage space. The sunny and spacious kitchen diner faces south with an enclosed pleasant garden area and patio with garden furniture. There is a cosy lounge with a gas fire and a spacious bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Facilities include flat screen TV and DVD, free WiFi, microwave oven, washing machine. A sofa bed in the dining area allows more flexibility in sleeping arrangements.
Free off road parking is available at the front of the property.
Recently Minster Chimes was the temporary home to visitors working on the new Flemingate shopping centre and we received this feedback:
"Hi Julia,
If I could say that Morton Lane accommodation in Beverley was really comfortable and it was a pleasure after a long days work knowing that I was going back to something that was home from home and could unwind very easy. The facilities within the home was second to none and all I had to supply was the food. Everything from clean linen, books to read and TV to watch were all at hand. Lastly the location of the bungalow was very handy as we didn't have our own transport so it was 15minutes walking to and from our workplace, 10minutes walking to the train station and a large Tesco was right across the street. Beverley town centre was also only approximately about minutes away.
I would like to thank Graham and yourself for the comfort of your own home, best of wishes and would look forward to returning one day if we ever get another project in the lovely town of Beverley. Adrian"

Big clean bungalow, well equipped, in a great position to explore Beverley. Only slight negative was road noise heard from the front bedroom.

Overall an excellent property although the mattresses on the beds were too soft, but that is personal taste. we understood also that there was a second toilet separated from the main bathroom but that was not the case but we managed ok despite having a 16 year old girl in the group!!!

The location was convenient and easily accessible. The amenities were just what my family needed. If we had not needed to be in another part of the country, we may have requested to book for a longer stay. Loved the back garden.

Terrific location in Beverley, close to everything including railway station, bus station and shops. Spacious bungalow that was clean and well equipped. Host provided local tourist information and guides on how to use the equipment in the bungalow. We had an enjoyable stay and would certainly book again.

We really enjoyed our three nights at Minster Chimes. It’s a really short and flat walk into Beverley centre, and across the road from Tesco. The road is quiet and it was very peaceful sat with our morning coffee in the large back garden. The bungalow is large, spacious, fully equipped, very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable too.
Host Julia was very approachable and responsive. I would highly recommend this homely accommodation.

Really nice two bedroom bungalow. Great location, Tesco over the road and town five minutes walk away. Very clean, bed extremely comfortable. The settees and chair in the living room were too soft and not very comfortable for us. The dining chairs were comfortable. Parking fine for one car but two cars would struggle. Overall a lovely stay.

The bungalow is well maintained and very clean and warm , always plenty of hot water . The kitchen is easy to work in plenty of equipment ( we cooked 5 evenings.) The location is excellent for all local amenities. You have your own parking in front of the bungalow, the back garden is a lovely sun trap ,the host is always very prompt with any queries this is our time at the bungalow so that says it all .
We will definitely be back . Thank you

It couldn’t have been better! Everything we needed was to hand, and every room was lovely and clean. Clear instructions for the various appliances, and a vase of flowers to welcome us. We’ve already booked for 2025.

We enjoyed our stay we have been several times before. The previous holiday makers had not washed up a lot of the crockery and cooking items so we washed what we wanted to use first. This is not usual for this property. Otherwise it was comfortable and welcoming.

The property is very centrally located so once you have parked you will not need your car to get around the town and there appeared to be plenty buses if you wanted to travel elsewhere.
The property is a little dated but clean and there is plenty room in the living, dining & kitchen areas. The bedrooms are a little cramped but there was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. The bathroom was clean but needs updating.
We were a little confused with the picture as this is taken from the rear of the property and shows a large garden which we enjoyed as we were there on a very sunny weekend.
Huge Tesco supermarket opposite and a 3 minute walk into town.

Loved the property. Spacious and clean. Its in a fairly quiet location and only 5mins walk to Bevery High Street. Managed to park a large SUV on the front with ease. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The garden area is quiet with a nice outlook to other surrounding gardens with trees and shrubs. You even get a view of the nearby Minster. Would use this property again.

Stayed for 2nights , superb property in a very suitable location close to Beverley centre yet quiet and secluded. The bungalow is well equipped with everything required . The owner was very helpful . A bonus is the off road parking which is at a premium in Beverley . The party included my 91 year old mum and accessibility was excellent for her . I would totally recommend this property .

Excellent presented property with a short walk to the main town centre.
Off road parking in front of the bungalow
was very helpful with heavy suitcases.
The only downside was the shower didn't work, however we will still be returning at a later date to visit the lovely town of Beverley again.
Thank You Julia.

Very clean and lovely Bungalow in a perfect location with parking which was great. The property is in the town center on a very quiet street best of both worlds easily walkable to local shops, eateries, and the minster but lovely and quiet for sleeping. The well-kept garden was another added bonus as we had sun whilst we were there so it was great to have somewhere to sit outside. The property is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were good and the bathroom was nice and big with a separate shower. Plenty of information about the property and things to do in the location were available. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We all loved it, very cosy and had everthing we needed. Shame it rained almost everyday but plenty to do in Beverley and surrounding area. Will definitely book again. Thankyou for milk, biscuits and beautiful fresh flowers. Having cleaning products was also a bonus washing up liquid etc, although Tesco is just across the road.

We had a short, but lovely stay. The house is very comfortable with a nice garden.
You are practically across the street from the Tesco, so shops are close by.
