Location was good although bit noisy neighbourhood

Ordered fried tilapia , it was not well cooked - just oily and half cooked , the carpet in the room had a bad smell

Disappointing

The size of the room

I was given a room that I did not like from the word go. When I asked to be given a different room, the request was declined The room carpet had a lot of clearly visible stains The WiFi was extremely unstable, weak and kept dropping off.. I reported this several times but all I would be given is a new login code that produced the same results over and over again. I resorted to working from the reception area where the WiFi was stable rather than my room The bathroom water was leaking into the bedroom side.....eventually it got so flooded that the hotel gave me a different room on the last day...

Have stayed at Momona several times however this time was not nice as i was double charged.

Their food always nicely cooked

was charged double even painstakingly explaining to the team there that the money had been taken on my account.

Overall good/has travel agency in house.

Good breakfast Pancakes w/syrup etc.

Patio doors had no handles and were difficult to open and close. Some ceiling lighting flickered or did not work.

It was not too bad experience for an overnight stay, within close proximity to the airport

Bed was comfortable, Pick up at the airport was on time, although i had to get help to find the bus. Reception staff friendly

Breakfast was not up to my expectations. Bathroom facilities standard not well maintained. Window was not closing and i did not feel safe at night

Overall comfortable stay in a good location and with helpful staff

The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful at every step. The room was clean and tidy. Wifi worked well. Location is good - close to the airport (the hotel provides a shuttle) and walking distance to numerous restaurants and cafes. I didn't use the pool/spa/sauna but they appear to add a nice touch.

Staff was not able to address the payment questions quickly which was time-sensitive for me - front/reception staff should be able to be helped by the system on such questions, without waiting for "finance people" to respond. Morning coffee at the restaurant needs a new way of making in order to prevent it from being burned. Beg bugs need to be treated asap - I was bitten quite badly (seems to be a persistent issue across many hotels in Ethiopia). I was also charged for the lost plastic door card - this should not happen, such minor losses should be calculated into the cost of doing business so that the annoyance of such petty charges can be avoided (the card also had the hotel name and my room number on it - which is likely not in line with hotel security standards).

Trapped!

I was totally trapped by one of their employee.

I was searching the web for a bar that was showing it nearby, suddenly one of the Momona employee came to me and said that he's also going somewhere to relax, He took me to the private house which is near by bole and we both drunk some beer. He's keep on saying that this is not a public bar and the dancers here are just graduated from college they just arrange the party here. I thought it will be some kinda free. Finally he gave me the bill which is 70650 Birr (940 USD), I barely drunk 2 bottle beer and one short whiskey, it may cost around 400 Birr not more than that. Then another fat guy came into the room, they both insisted me to pay the bill. Next day I ask the receptionist to double check the hotel employee, I didn't get the proper answer yet.

"I had the pleasure of staying at Momona Hotel Addis twice and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The hotel is immaculately clean and its convenient location is close to both the airport and many fantastic places in Addis. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the front desk staff, who are incredibly professional and accommodating. A special shout-out to Mr. Surafel, the friendly receptionist, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic stay. I highly recommend Momona Hotel Addis and will definitely be back for my next visit to Addis."

The hotel is located in the best area of Bula and the staff are the most charming

The staff of the hotel were very kind and happy to help in any way possible

First the room we got was nothing at all like a bed with a sinking mattress and a room not well maintained but the upgrade to a large and comfortable room would have been good if there was an extra charge for it.
