Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ambiente und Lage waren sehr gut. In wenigen Minuten ist man in der Altstadt. Trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen. Schöner Frühstücksraum.

Ruhiges, zentrales und sehr freundliche Pension.

Personal, Lage und die Lage der Pension waren wirklich Toll. Die Zimmer sind freundlich und praktisch eingerichtet. Es gibt einen romantischen Hinterhof.

Da gibt es nichts zu berichten.

A pearl that turned out to be a fake pearl

The name of the pension is 'altstadperle', no doubt with the intention to tell that there is something special good to be found in the old town of Erfurt; worthy of a pearl. Unfortunately, the reality is different. Customer satisfaction and comfort turned out not to be a pearl but a nightmare. The accommodation itself can be called moderate, but the customer focus is missing. Kindness is something that costs nothing and makes you feel welcome. Unfortunately, that is not in the arsenal of the employees of this location. The most striking example is that after a night of nuisance from noisy fellow hotel guests, the reaction of the hotel reception was: 'not our problem, we just provide the facilities'. There was therefore no question of any understanding let alone compensation. Too bad for Erfurt which turned out to be a friendly and interesting place. In any case, look for another place to sleep on your visit.

Great location and quiet room

The location is superb, very central but at the same time it is very quiet at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and the late check-in went without a hitch.

The only negative thing I have to say is that the bed was pretty hard.

This was certainly not my last stay in the Altstadtperle :-) !

Nicely renovated, all new and very clean. Parking in the garden very comfortable. located in the very centre of the old town and the Krämerbrücke (200m walk). Very quiet location, despite the Altstadtperle is in the centre of the city. B & B "only" is rather an advantages than disadvantage, as there are plenty of restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. I stayed in a large double bed room ("Bali").

perfect place for a visitor with limited time at his disposal for exploring this gem of a town

i liked the friendly receptionist who was very helpful and delivered good info on the town.also very good location literally in the town centre and with a reasonably priced parking space in the backyard. the room was nice and functional as well as quiet. breakfast (of relative importance to me) was adequate and even good for the price charged.

Our room was situated on the third floor. A little bit too many steps to do for elder people with the luggage, even if we are still fit considering our age.

Accommodation with great location

Location is close to main attractions of Erfurt (walking distance) and yet easily reachable by car.

Kitchen is equipped (kettle, toaster, etc) but there are no tea or coffee provided as compliment.

Lacking many comforts you get in cheaper places

Strange decor and not a very comfortable room. Thin mattress and pillows, a gap in the middle of a double bed, bad wifi, tiny bathroom, thin towels, cold floors, no elevator for luggage, no blackout curtains etc. Perfectly livable, but there are much more comfortable places in the city center for less money. If you are willing to pay for an old building vibe, then expect extremely weird decor of plastic weapons on the walls and above your bed
