We really enjoyed our stay at Brookvale House, it is so peaceful & scenic. The cottage was very well appointed, clean, cosy, & comfortable. It had a loft bedroom, & downstairs sleeping area, tv/dvd, air con, & a log fire. Bailingup has nowhere to dine at night, so we used the cottage kitchen which is very handy.
Janene & Peter made us feel welcome & are very friendly.
Next time we stay at Brookvale House we will bring our dog as it's pet friendly.
We highly recommend Brookvale House.
Bailingup had nowhere to dine at night.

We loved the location on the slope of the hill, with lots of trees and old citrus trees laden with fruit. Each afternoon we enjoyed our wine on the verandah and watched the sun set with lots of little birds darting around, just before they settled. Having a wood fire was good, and the cottage was well equipped with all that we needed.

Our overnight stay provided by Janene and Peter in their quirky and cute cottage was exceptional. The cottage left us needing nothing. Cleanliness was forefront and a very comfortable bed with electric blankets and to add to our comfort,a tile fire with an ample supply of wood. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Views over the valley were spectacular.

I was happy with everything on offer. No complaints.

Breakfast was not included but we very much enjoyed having our own breakfast on the deck overlooking lush vegetation, bird life and kangaroos in the adjoining property
We were more than happy with all that was provided, its location and garden surrounds and the proximity to Balingup town centre.

Loved the property, the valley is stunning in the morning frost. Gary and Louise we're exceptionally responsive and struck the perfect balance of giving everything we needed whilst giving us space. They were very accommodating with our pup.

The Pavillion was nicely decorated and was very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed for our overnight stay, including a coffee machine!

Beautiful cottage. Lovely wood fire and wonderful views from the verandah. Super comfortable bed. Owners were fantastic - provided clear directions and responded to all queries immediately.
Kitchen was small and a little tricky to prepare meals and clean up after.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pavillion, it has a Kingsize bed, big couch, beautiful pictures on the wall, everything you need for cooking is in the kitchen, a nice place to sit outside. Overall we will be back again ❤

The Cottage was comfortable, peaceful and so cute! Gary and Louise were very welcoming. The gardens and views were amazing.
The curtains don’t block out the sun in the morning so we were up early.

Self contained ambience of the cottage and location
Outside lights at night would be great on sensor mode so they aren't on all night.

Comfort, relaxed environment and cleanliness. The accomodation was better than expected, gardens were beautiful and scenery very photogenic. It was a cold morning therefore reverse cycle air conditioner very much appreciated. The owners were there if required otherwise we were left to our own devices which suited us. We will return.
TV reception perfect we were able to watch our AFL side.
Felt it would be good if we had the option to purchase a continental breakfast. Luckily we were travelling on therefore had cereal with us. I acknowledge breakfast was not offered on the website however option would be good. We have been spoilt with independent springs in mattress, bed was a bit bouncy, however not the end of the world problem.

Fabulous country location in a gorgeous restored cottage.
Perfect isolation and a short drive to Greenbushes for dinner at the Shamrock Hotel
Louise sent photos of the entrance and the tables were set for dinner/Lunch/Breakfast complete with wine glasses.

The location was beautiful, whether going into the village, towards nannup, Bridgetown or green bushes. Private accommodation even though other cottage in location. Birds … so many to watch playing in the bird bath.
Constructive criticism only …. A recycle and larger waste bin at the pavilion would be nice. We were not sure where to put our waste.
