I took my daughter and grandson.. had a fabulous stay. Played games laughing until late each night.

The Oak Barn is beautifully set up. Bathroom with its amazing spa was an added bonus, and the huge living space.. made you feel like 'I could live here'. The wood fire warmed up beautifully.. Kitchen bench is amazing. If you are looking for something quiet and special, this place is the 'it'!! Wine tasting 50mtrs away.. beautiful scenery everywhere.

A quiet little escape to the country

The place was amazing and value for money exceptional. We feel like it's about to become our new home away from home. It was just what we needed with a quiet weekend away to the countryside. We can't wait to come back again.

The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer. We couldn't fault the place it was amazing.

Always looking forward to our next holidays at Oak Tree Barn

We love the accommodation so much that we come here every winter, when everything is green and beautiful. It's very serene and peaceful, only birds singing whole day long. The house itself has everything what you need for comfortable stay and more, we didn't miss anything. Kitchen is well equipped with extra touches. I love that yummy cherry liqueur on the dining table.

We cannot find any fault with the accommodation. Cannot wait to come back next winter.

Disappointing and we feel we could not recommend to family or friends

Property look tied and in need of refurbishment, certainly not luxury as advertised, uncomfortable lounge seating, quite dark, water/shower system difficult to adjust, stove not totally functional, limited kitchen equipment and preparation dishes. We feel the property is set up for short stays up to 3 nights maximum and not for longer stays of 4 night or more.

Lovely Stay

The location was perfect on a quiet no-through road surrounded by hills, greenery and the subtle sound of Nature. full off amenities including lof fire, two split AC systems, washing machine and small dishwasher.

Never saw our hosts…no complimentary shampoo/conditioner (available at all our other stays)…necessitated our going out and buying these products…as were only there for a 2 night stay, did not bring food to prepare so went out to eat, no good restaurants in the area

Very relaxing weekend away.

I loved all the little added extras - the jigsaws, the books, the wine and chocolates supplied.

The piano needs to be tuned. I would have played it if it sounded better. But I appreciate that it would be hard to find a piano tuner so far from the city.

A truly special place

The owners have retained parts of the original barn which add to the impressiveness of the decor. It is spectacular to look at. They had also thought of everything, robes in the bedroom, chocolates and port on the table, fresh flowers and it added to the romantic vibe.

Exceeded Expectations

Love the location and the character of the barn. Was beautiful as we walked in and exceeded our expectations! The barn was finished off very well and had all the things we needed for our stay. Great attention to detail with inclusions like a coffee machine, umbrellas and a bbq.

Amazing property inside and outside. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of small but very important additions. Bathroom just lovely with luxurious spa bath. Bed outstandingly comfy and large.

There was nothing that we could complain about. We just want to come back soon.
