a quiet location with a large garden with sunshine and shadow places to relax and as a starting point to walk towards the see, bush an small villages in Normandia. The house itself is small (with 4 persons it will be very small, if you need to spend your time within the house). a tip for the owner: The shower does nog have a screen so much water enters the doorway and

Very charming cottage and friendly and helpful owners with great communication. Everything was as advertised and the short walk to the beach was very beautiful. The large garden was a delight and overall it was very quiet (apart from loud music coming from far away - probably Honfleur - on Saturday night). The nearness of Honfleur was really welcome. Do however visit Villerville as well, it is lovely and definitely less touristic and just as beautiful!
All in all very much recommended for the great garden, charming accomodation, nearness and quietness of the beach, the beautiful forest right up the road and the very friendly owners. The check-in was a bit hurried, but we arrived quite late (around 20:00).
A few downsides were the very small bathroom (more a shower room) without any curtain - so the floor becomes all wet, the pretty hard mattresses and the many number of cobwebs and (admittedly, very harmless and cute) spiders. No bakery or supermarket is in the neighborhood. A car is really a necessity to get groceries.

A delightful little converted building in large grounds with dramatic gardens, and only a very short walk down to the beach. The property was well situated for the short journey into Honfleur, where we found free parking easy to obtain, and also for a relatively close hypermarket. Only very slight drawbacks were the lack of laundry facilities (despite them being listed amongst facilities on Vrbo) and rather cobwebby ceilings in the beamed bedrooms, which proved rather a problem with a teenager scared of spiders! Very helpful owners though, and we would come back.

We had a great week here. The house was comfortable and the owners very friendly. The beach is a short 5 mins walk down a country path and is very quiet - usually not more than a dozen others to share the large expanse of sand, but sometimes, particularly in late afternoon, we had the whole beach to ourselves. We had pleasant evening meals in the garden at the front of the house. Honfleur is a lovely town too and well placed for trips to other Normandy beaches.

We really had a super time in this beautiful house. Everything was perfect: the house looks good and clean, beds are good, kitchen perfectly equipped, enough space, very big and peaceful garden, beach on 2 minutes walking, centre of Honfleur 20 minutes by bike or 5 minutes by car. Erick and Monika are perfect hosts, very nice people and also with good humor!
What else do you need on holiday???

A very nice house for a family vacation situated in a quiet spot surrounded by a beautiful garden. You can walk to a deserted beach perfect for sandcastles, long walks etc. The location is within a few minutes by car to Honfleur and convenient to other sights in the region as well as all the shopping you will need. And the owners are extremely nice and helpful, and have plenty of ideas for excursions.

Comfortable holiday home , beautifully decorated, neat and clean , well equipped, friendly owner.
Large and very quiet beach is nearby (100m steps along quiet country road ) . Our children had a great time on their "private beach". You can walk along the beach to Honfleur ( 3.5km) . Very well situated to explore Normandy. Highly recommended !

We stayed at la mare aux loups for a week in August and enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing holiday. The cottage is clean and well equipped and conveniently situated to visit Normandy's many attractions.
The owners were personable and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this accommodation.

We stayed in Pennedepie for 5 days. We really enjoyed the appartment, the surrounding (100 meters to the sea), the silence and the very kind welcome. Eric, the owner, took the time to explain everything and had some helpfull advise and suggestions about the region. We really appreciated it.
We will be back as soon as possible :-)

"Have just spent 8 nights here and had a wonderful time. The property was in excellent condition, very clean with all amenities in perfect working order. We had one small issue with the TV, but on saying it to the owners it was resolved immediately. The location was great, less than 5 minutes walk to the beach (which we had to ourselves most days) and only minutes from Honfleur. It is in a very quiet town, so noise was never an issue. Overall it was a great property and we would definitely recommend it."
