Great place, nicely situated, updated, clean, comfortable and host was very helpful. He picked us up at the water taxi stop and suggested areas to visit and eat. He communicated with us before our arrival to give us clear instructions on what we needed to do upon arriving in Venice to get to the apartment and again during our stay to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely rent this apartment again if I am lucky enough to go back to Venice someday. Thank you Gianluca!

The apartment was fantastic. Everything was exactly as it showed on vrbo. The location was ideal and very close to transportation. The apartment was very clean and communication was excellent. I was given very detailed information on how to get to airport at the end of our stay and it made it super easy and effortless

Gianluca was a terrific host. Apartment was super clean with updated interior. Host even texted the next day to make sure we didn't need anything. Many extras like shampoo, laundry soap, shower soap etc. provided. We'll be back!

Lovely apartment.
The apartment was fantastic. Everything was exactly as it showed on vrbo. The location was ideal and very close to transportation. The apartment was very clean and communication was excellent. I was given very detailed information on how to get to airport at the end of our stay and it made it super easy and effortless

This is an amazing location. Close to everything you want to see, do and eat in Venice. Gianlucca is a wonderful host. Fab location, comfortable apartment
This is an amazing location. Close to everything you want to see, do and eat in Venice. Gianlucca is a wonderful host. The Perfect Location
This apartment was in the perfect location near the Grand
Canal, but in a relatively quiet area. The owner was very helpful, and the apartment was updated and clean. Everything was in good working order. I felt safe walking around the area before and after dark. There are many good restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Venice.

Location is great. The water taxi is very close to the apartment and Gianluca met us and escorted us to our place. We didn’t have to cross any bridges with our suitcases which was a plus and the apartment is extremely close to the Rialto bridge. Gianluca is extremely friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable stay
Our host -Gianluca met us at San Silvestro vaporetto stop (First time in Venice - and it was an easy find from the airport to Piazzalle Roma by bus and to San Silvestro by vaporetto).
The apartment is a 2 minute walk from there.
Gianluca gave us a brief informative explanation of what we could find in the area and answered all our questions about visiting Venice.
The apartment had everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Gianluca was readily available via text messaging if we needed.
Very nice location- we would stay here again !!

Incredible Apartment in Venice!
We enjoyed a great stay at Giancarlo’s apartment in Venice. I was traveling alone with my 3 boys (11, 13, 14) and there were comfortable beds for all of us. Great, hot showers and laundry too. Giancarlo met us at the water taxi to walk us to the apartment. Everything was so, so easy! Perfect location in the middle of everything. Great pizza at Antico Forno just steps away. We hope to come back soon. Thank you, Giancarlo!!

Clean modernized apartment situated in a prime location close to Rialto bridge. Owner was very good with coordinating check in and being available during stay since once there you will have more questions than you think. If you are early risers like 0500 no issues but be aware there is a busy restaurant directly underneath that starts deliveries and clean up very early with no way to avoid the chaos you will be awakened. Lastly unit is very small given 2br/2ba with the 2nd bath basically closet size. Good choice based upon location, cleanliness and price.

Fabulous Apartment - Great Location
GianLuca's apartment was wonderful! It looks newly remodeled and it was meticulously clean, the beds were comfortable and there were two bathrooms with showers which made it more comfortable since we were traveling with another couple. He met us at the boat top, helped with our luggage and gave us a map of the city and noted great places to eat and visit. He even returned to help us with the washing machine within 15 minutes of our inquiry. He also gave us two sets of keys. He was a great host and we all agreed it was in a fabulous location, not far from the Rialto Bridge and centrally located to everything. He even allowed us to store our luggage for several hours before our departure flight. It was a wonderful vacation!

Nicely remodeled apartment in a great location. The owner, Gianluca, met us at the bus station and escorted us to the apartment, showed us how everything worked, gave some recommendations on nearby places, and carried our luggage up the stairs. This was the only apartment we rented while in Italy that had ceiling fans in the bedrooms which we loved. We attempted to send a package to the apartment to arrive after we did but it arrived early and was rerouted.Gianluca went above and beyond and tracked the shipment down for us so we would know where to pick it up on our arrival. He kept in contact throughout our stay ensuring all was to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend starting here

Great location and great price
This apartment was comfortable and close to everything we were hoping to access during our stay in Venice. The host also took time to orient us with some delicious restaurants in the area as well as how to get to notable attractions, which is the most I've received from a host previously. He also checked in on us to make sure we were having a great time. We would highly recommend staying here if Venice is in your future.

We had a wonderful stay at Gianluca's apartment. The location was perfect. Close to everything in Venice by being centrally located. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean with comfortable bedrooms. Gianluca was great. He met us at the vaporetto stop when we arrived and helped us with our luggage. During our stay he periodically texted us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Venice is truly a must see destination.

In one word: superb!!!
To be more specific: Gianluca turned out to be a trustworthy, conscientious and flexible host with a keen eye for all the needs of his guests. After sending a detailed email with instructions about where to meet him he was there at the agreed time. A 3 minute walk was all it took to reach the appartment. The appartment is clearly recently refurbished. Everything needed is available: towels, bedlinnen, good beds and a fully equiped kitchen. The latter was not used by us because there are plenty good restaurants nearby. Apart from that there is a bakery and supermarket 3 minutes away. Last but not least: it is located 5 minutes walking distance from the Rialto Bridge!!!
On the day of departure it turned out that a public transportation strike was disrupting services to the airport. We contacted Gianluca early in the morning with the question if he could come earlier to do the check out so we had extra time reaching the airport. He swiftly answered that he was not able to be earlier but offered us the option of leaving the key on the kitchen table. Thanks to this we were able to catch our flight.
All in all we had a great time and this apartment contributed highly to this. Worth every euro and considering the unique central location a real bargain.
