Nice hotel. Will likely come again.

Breakfast was OK. Cooled quickly. No orange juice, although orange slices available.

The lounge was closed due to a staff shortage.

Great value for the price.

Too close to the train tracks so was noisy at night. Should create a separate menu for breakfast as it seemed to create confusion with was was included and what not and so customers were annoyed with extra charges for things that they ordered and had to pay extra for.

The beds were comfy and the room was clean and cozy. Breakfast should have been included!

I love the location and the cleanliness is good too.

We didn’t get breakfast included with the room, and I was told I didn’t pick it when I booked? I have stayed here before and got free breakfast, and I booked the same way. If it’s free, it should be included with the room! Also the hot tub was down which was unfortunate. When it was back up and running it was no warmer than a bath 😔

Hotel is dated but works for a quick nights stay! Pool is down 2 flights of stairs so if stairs are a problem, don’t ban

Nice pool area. Bedding was updated but old towels and pool towels were tiny! Hardly wrapped around my 6yr old.

Went out the west side door on main floor at 10pm and sliced my finger bad on the door itself! Staff did not care. Make sure to watch your fingers if leaving the side doors when you have to twist the knob!!! Also NO CONDITIONER!! Didn’t read the bottle and put hand lotion in my hair! Never been to a hotel that doesn’t supply conditioner with the shampoo!

Preferred place to stay in Cranbrook

I'm a returning guest here for many years. Love the location. Never had issues with parking. Rooms are clean and comfy. Inside pool with a hot-tub is a bonus. Included breakfast is always fresh and delicious.

Great location for a one night stay in Cranbrook

The hotel is older but kept in nice condition. It's in a great location on the main street, walkable to several food choices, and a laundromat. Breakfast was a nice buffet with eggs, potatoes, bacon, and french toast (typical of most hotels these days), BUT, the coffee/juice was served to your table and the plates/cups/cutlery were restaurant quality (not paper) which was a nice surprise. Beds were super comfy!

The hotel sits pretty close to the train tracks, so if you have a room at the back of the building you will hear the train in the night. Our AC unit wasn't functioning 100%, it quit after only a couple of hours of running. We let the front desk know and they were more than happy to move us if it continued to be an issue. It quit again in the middle of the night, but powering it off/on reset it again. The hotel must use water-miser shower heads because the water flow is really weak. Lots coming out of the faucet, just not the shower head.

Night staff was pleasant and helpful

We arrived very late and we're told we could have a late check out. Then the morning staff changed that. Didn't seem to try to accommodate. Also lots of noise from the parking lot very early in the morning.

I will stay at a different place next time .

I had ants in my room and didn’t find out until they were crawling all over me the next morning . I received another room but couldn’t get that off my mind. The hot tub was warm and not hot . The one ice machine only worked sometimes . The wifi didn’t work all weekend.

Hotel is getting run down. Bathrooms are old. Written note that bathroom steam can set off fire alarm. Beds were good. Staff were nice.

Would likely look for another hotel rather then stay where we were not fully satisfied.

Good location, staff helpfull.

Breakfast was very disappointing. We got a box breakfast, muffin, orange juice, yogurt, apple. There apparently was a buffet at 10am but we were unable to get there at that time. Sunday, we were able to get to the buffet but it was not offered on Sunday. Disappointing.

It was very mediocre except for the breakfast. Probably wouldn't stay there again. Noisy street.

Forgettable hotel with great find of restaurant opposite.

Comfortable bed. Excellent Indian restaurant across road (Bay leaf).

Ground floor room suffered bad road noise. Breakfast was included but comprised a single choice from a limited menu. Poor service with two people not working efficiently with each other. Waffles were barely cooked when they eventually arrived (20 minutes from our arrival).
