Nice apartment-style accommodation, nice outdoor pool & hot tub
Quite aged interiors (old, not rustic), OK service at the front-desk

Really friendly staff from the moment you walk in the door. Rooms had everything and more. Pool, outdoor seating and hot tub with unbelievable views were a bonus.
Nothing at all

well kept, facilities were nice. staff was helpful
First - the prices are $$$$. For 350 USD I expect breakfast included. it isn’t. that’s extra. Also, ONCE AGAIN Booking.com hides the incidental charge requirement so there’s AN ADDITIONAL $300 charge on top of the cost of the room FOR ONE NIGHT. I’m so tired of this. Yes, the incidental charge gets returned after check out but c’mon! No facility should be allowed to do this. And certainly Booking.com shouldn’t work with them. I arrived at 10:15 pm, have to check out by 11 am, only get breakfast for an additional $19 per person (only continental), all for a charge of $650 on my credit card!? No. That’s ridiculous. there is no level of hospitality in that.

The location is good in regard to distance to the ski field.
The staff were friendly.
The noise from people partying in the spa pool at night was an issue.
The very tight car parking under the building was an issue.
The spa pool had lots of dead flies floating in it, the time we used it.

I didn’t realize I had to give notice we were bringing our dog; we were explained the policy very kindly and she was warmly welcomed nonetheless. Staff were friendly and helpful

room clean and warm, shower has nice size and comfortable, jacuzzi outside, steam room is great. Everything you need on kitchen. laminate floor looks clean
1. pool was closed.,
2. two tea bags were not enough. personally, i prefer tea to coffee.
3. This is forth stay here. Previously I was taking the cheapest room which has carpet floor - does not look very clean. This time i took more expensive room that has laminate floor and did not regret.

Location is awesome. Kitchen has everything what you need. And my favorite is washer and dryer. For winter time is must.
I would like to see there in door pool. We visited in winter and my kids will be happy to swimm.

Nice place. Close to Pemberton village with McDonalds, restauraunts and shops nearby. The lodge itself has a nice pool, hot tub and steam room which were very nice. Great staff and lounge. Room was spacious. Shower only no bathtub.

Very clean, close to highway and not far away from Whistler. I am not a bath tab person and shower was a great bonus for me. Stuff is very helpful. Will be visiting this place again.
Difficult to say. I did not run into anything that would upset me or made me unhappy about that place. Nothing that would hold from coming back to this place.

The fireplace which was cheery in the evening. The kitchen for breakfast - thank you for the real teapot. The shower unit was very practical.
Offering my son (who lives in Pemby) use of guest facilities (ie pool, exercise room) he would have used but no time.
I found the shower controls a bit tricky and the fireplace did not like "my" waving. ... slow to react.

was close to family location
Price for a room you had to keep the curtains closed the whole time when in the room due to it looking right into the parking lot. Was told by acquaintance who manages a different property in Whistler we were being punished for booking through booking.com. Apparently third party bookings automatically get the worst room available. This is the second time we were told using booking.com to actually book gets you extra charges and the worst rooms.

It's a beautiful hotel with lovely staff and a great location. The rooms are excellent. Everything about PVL is fantastic. It's why I keep going back. There are a lot of hikes in the area and lots of other things to do.
There were no problems at all.

Most all staff are proffessional and curtious. A younger staff member was very helpful checking me in early and was I super appreciative.
Rooms are clean and amenities reasonably good quality. Good location. Beautiful view of the surrounding hills.
Management, an older woman, at check out was incredibly rude, dismissive, negligent, and irresponsible by demanding my husband to move his vehicle while about to load luggage in front entrance. (though we had previously unloaded in the same entrance on arrival with no comment) He was not given any safe alternatives, as there was thick ice outside and parking close by was full. She barked at him to move, so he had to park far away and carry the luggage over the ice after he voiced his concerns. He was so upset, but followed her 'orders', as I watched a couple elderly women brave the 1/2 ice ice to their vehicle. She took no responsibility for the concerns of her guest, shifing exuses to the unusual weather. I profusely appologised for my husbands outburst, and she let me stand there appologising and took no responsibility, then said we we not welcomed back. I feel humiliated for apologising, especially after a local man standing by interjected with threats and racist insults towards my husband. Telling him to "go back to Australia". My hubs is not Australian, but that suck for the Aussie's. The sad thing is that, she let this man who doesnt work there take over in his hostility for what was her responsibility to manage the safety concerns of a paying guest. Perhaps she knew she had been in the wrong and did not have the management skills to address a safety issue, nor the courage to admit it.
For people who travel extensively around the world, this one was the pits. Pemberton deserves better.
And if its worth anything to potential guests, the walls are thin, bring ear plugs.

Room where good and Clean, Pool area as nice.
I didn't like that everyone had to be Vaccinated, if your trying to keep everyone "safe" we should be doing tests. You can catch Covid and also pass it if you vaccinated or not!
I also think that NO Smoking sign was a bit much, For $500 per night If the boys wanted to enjoy a cigar on the deck of our room they should be able too.
