Location is convenient
The lodge is pretty old , the carpet in the room is dirty and lighting is dark

We had the river view suite well worth the extra money, beautiful view out of lovely large windows. Warm, comfortable. Right in town, would stay again.
No onsite laundry, but you can use guest laundry at the neighbouring hotel just across parking lot.

Wow the view!
The use of pool, spa, guest laundry and fabulous restaurants at Banff Lodge was fantastic😃

The room was cozy Not to sound glib but ski hotels are their own thing. They tend to be comfortable and have amenities, but the rooms tend to be small. It was a nice hotel and in a good location in Banff. I got a great price through Booking even for Friday.
The staff was polite but reserved. It was Canada after all. I wish I had booked for more than one night.

Lovely view
Comfortable beds
Good size room
Small balcony
The spa facilities in sister hotel
There was a fan but air conditioning would have been nice

Very clean property. Great location.
Rooms were hot with nothing but a small fan for AC. Rooms were small and dated. Beds are uncomfortable. Renovations needed. Did nit sleep well.

I did love the location and the use of the pool, steam room and jacuzzi at the sister hotel "Banff Park Lodge". Everything is walking distance with easy access to just almost any place of entertainment. Views are great but that's just Banff. And I like the fact that you were facing the river!
Everything was so outdated. From the moment you enter, to the surly receptionists, to the very old and dirty furniture in the hallways and reception. I reserved my judgement until we entered a very scary looking elevator that took us up to our room on the 2nd floor. I was terribly upset and forgot to take any pictures of the room. It had two double beds which were visibly unclean (with either pubic hair/ chest hair) along with a stained couch, blinds. Honestly, very let down all together. I am pretty shocked about most reviews on here. Also, the pipes started making a noise every time we used the shower. We eventually placated ourselves by saying it was just a night's stay.

Rooms was spacious and well fitted out. Despite slightly aging furniture it was all functional and fine. Bed was extremely comfortable and our room had a fantastic view of the river. Loved it. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and couldn't fault them. Definitely great value for money.
Nothing, brilliant hotel.

the air conditioner doesn’t work. I don’t know if this is the case since it’s always cold but during my stay it was really warm.
the cooling system

Not worth the value, too expensive..

It was nice and close to downtown so we could just walk everywhere.
The balcony needs an upgrade.
3.6
Close to town friendly
Nothing. To find something wrong would be an injustice

Location was amazing. Very central to everything. Free parking underground was great. It is what it is for the price.
Only provided 1 coffee for a 3 night stay. No water facilities apart from a tap. Did not keep car parking allocation so we were unable to park on day 2. Pillows were so horrific I couldn't really sleep and the room was very hot even after turning the temp down.

its a good location, close to everything. just walking distance going to the main shopping area and restaurants. the beds are comfy.
the rooms are old with old furnitures and tv too.

We were there for 12 days so they gave us the largest room with beautiful view.

After we checked out, the hotel billed me over £257 in additional charges. This money was our spending money for the following few days in Edmonton. I tried to sort it out with them whilst in Canada. Unfortunately, this didn't happen. There was no one in the hotel able to reimburse me the money or could explain why this had happened.
Subsequently, i had to borrow money from a friend who was accompanying myself and my wife. The hotel blamed Booking.com for the error, even though on check-in, it showed that we had fully paid for the accommodation.
I had to contact my bank, and they advised me to cancel my bank card, this would stop the hotel from taking any more money from the account. Which I did.
It was only on our return that the hotel sorted it out and returned our money.
This whole experience practically ruined the last few days of our holiday.

Nice location.
Bed was like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. terribly uncomfortable.

The location was great.
I was rather annoyed by the fact that I was asked to pay a 200 dollar security deposit upon arrival. This was not information listed on booking.com. This amount was more than half of what the total cost of my. stay was.
In addition to the total cost of my stay being reserved through booking.com when I arrived, the hotel's booking system was also charging me daily per night that I was there.
This was incredibly frustrating as these unexpected transactions were eating into my budget which affected my stay in Banff. The staff appeared unable to assist and just assured me that the money would return to my account once I checked out.
My reservation also said I'd have a mountain view but instead I ended up with a street view.

The location is great easy walking distance to pubs restaurants shopping.
