We were very comfortable as a family of 5 and will stay at Swans again.

Great location, lots of nearby food & amenities, flexible layout (2 bedroom suite plus sofabed), functional kitchen, on-site laundry machines, and really nice staff. Even parking the car was really straightforward, plus the hotel parking zone in front made it easy to load & unload. Appreciated that there is an elevator for our family member who uses a mobility aid.

The only tiny thing that could have been improved was that the bathroom door was really squeaky! If we'd stayed longer, we'd have asked staff to oil the hinges.

Very expensive. Not well-maintained.

We found the view from the window lovely and the king bed in the loft was very nice. The kitchen had everything a traveller could need in terms of appliances. The extra noise barrier on the windows was great to block out city noise.

The room was very expensive and the furniture was in very poor condition. Chairs were ripped, tables were heavily worn and very low-quality. The room was very hot, even with fans, despite the fact that the hallways were air conditioned. The blind in the upstairs room was difficult to maneuver up and down and provided very little respite from the heat that was baking the room.

Great location, clean, and comfortable. Good value

We loved the location and were able to walk everywhere! The desk staff was welcoming and very helpful. We had lunch in the Pub and it was excellent.

Definitely staying here again

We loved the location and easy walking options to many of the local sights. The hotel was clean and well managed. The staff was always friendly and we never had any concerns

Some of the furniture was a bit dated but it was still usable just overly worn in some areas. The chair in the king bedroom had peeling leather.

Would not stay there again to to parking and confusion of dealing with a busy street

Location was good for touring local shops,restaurants etc.

There is NO PARKING on site, it is a 5-8 min walk and you have to pay for it. We were not able to carry our luggage that far, we had to just carry our essentials.

Great location, could be great but no way to address noise concerns from adjoining rooms

great location adjacent to Historic Chinatown

It was too loud too sleep. There was what seemed to be a stag party next to us each night, and there was no one at the desk when we tried to ask for help to control the noise. There was constant noise late into the night, and banging on the walls was our last resort - it only helped calm things for awhile.

A unique and lovely hotel by Victoria bay.

excellent location, lovely rooms with local artwork hung on the walls, and great staff!

No cell phone charging in the room, and the TV (which we did not turn on) is placed where we, if the sofa were there instead, could have had views of the bay.

Great location. Comfy bed, liked that the room had a kitchenette. Good shower.

The pipes in the building were pretty noisy. I was in room 204 and it was very loud. At one point I got out of bed because I was sure a tap in my room was on but it was just the noise in the pipes.

Pleasant

We recently stayed at this heritage hotel and was impressed with the building's charm and history. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to many local attractions.

However, I must admit that the sound insulation left something to be desired. I could hear noise from the pub downstairs and conversations from the rooms next door, which made it difficult to sleep at times. Overall, while the hotel has many great features, if you are a light sleeper or prefer a quieter stay, it may not be the best choice for you
