This hotel sucks

The staff was rude and very short with myself and my kids. Their signs had false information on them in the pool area and we will never go back. Waste of money

Very poor and noisy and not restful

The room air conditioner was horrible. When it came on it was so loud you could not sleep. We would like half our money back as we got such a poor rest

It was super family friendly, the kids loved the pool and slide especially.

Our sink had problems draining. And held water for long periods of time so when we emptied drinks or tried to wash anything it would sit forever.

My daughter lives the water slide. That part was good.

The bathroom sink didn't work. So we had to use the bath tub to wash up and brush are teeth. That what I didn't like.

we got put in a room that was apperntly out of order at the time , nothing worked !! got min discout

The best hotel to stay at in Kamloops!

The staff were amazing! Helpful regarding burnt out light in our room, directions to things in the area. Even allowed us to park by the main doors as there was no stalls left and the street behind was also full.

The tab in the tub dripped and wasn't fixed when we asked.

Pool area was great for kids they loved the slide. I liked that the floor wasn't slippery like so many other hotels we have stayed in

There was an extreme shortage of towels parking was difficult in evening

poop and hotub were closed and no where on website did it mention this! we stayed for New Year’s Eve with our kid and searched specifically for hotels with pool and hotub this is why we booked here

Dissapointed

Location, we used the resort for a stay cation destination.

Pool, waterside and hottub weren't working, nothing in the booking indicated that, or we would have chosen another property. The front desk would not give us a refund, we ended up staying and paying at another hotel. We had two very disappointed children, we will not stay at this location again.

pool was closed. wasn’t informed until we went to use it. only reason we stayed there was to use the pool. phone didn’t work in room. restaurant also not open. unfriendly front desk agent. limited parking. beds not very comfortable

Noisy

Didn’t have any breakfast since it was a bag.

Our room at the back of the hotel was right next to a heat pump which was very noisy and kept me awake half the night. I won’t stay here ever again.

It was our anniversary and we were very disappointed in what we got. Will not be back.

We enjoyed the whirlpool

We were not aware that the restaurant had closed as well as the Lounge/Bar We had expected a bit of a complimentary breakfast but there was nothing. We had hoped for a little better view than what we got You cannot reach the "toilet tissue" from the "toilet". Bit of an inconvenience I would say.

Average. Definitely not worth $1450 for 4 nights

Location was good, central to everything. The staff was extremely friendly. They were all so nice and tried to be accomodating.

We got a 2 bedroom suite with kitchenette. There were no utencils in the kitchen and the hotel only had wooden spoons. beyond disappointing. Coffee maker in the room is old and disappointing. I would just go downstairs every morning and use the keurig at the front desk. The kitchen wasn't fully equipped with enough pans, pots, and the fridge is still a mini fridge. There is no breakfast at this hotel and there is also no restaurant on site. The pool was very dirty. Ring around the pool and hot tub. Underneath the towel bin is a dirty and pieces of food which remained there for our entire stay. Also some cheerios underneath the pool chairs. It is ridiculously dirty. My kids enjoyed it regardless.

Not up to standard when under previous umbrella.

The hotel website noted breakfast, the on site restaurant was not open for breakfast. We selected this hotel as we had stayed there many times when it was under a different umbrella and enjoyed the fact that we were able to have breakfast. We will not be using this hotel again.

Over priced, was worth half the amount at best. probably wont ever stay at a Best Western again.

No breakfast. adjoining restaurant was closed for breakfast, except sign in elevator said it was open from 7am till 10am. was unable to connect to wifi, instructions given on 1.5" by 2" piece of paper. extremely unprofessional. Door key card took on average 8 attempts to open door. Had to ask for towels. Garbage still in waste basket from previous customers. TV was basically impossible to operate, worst channel selection since the 1990's

will not be back to this best western.

Breakfast is not included although all local competitors off it with their hotels at a lower rate. Had to purchase breakfast from the attached restaurant costing me an additional $70 on top of their premium rate for the area, which was really slow and no kids options for breakfast... When I asked for a smaller portion of one of the dishes to be suitable for a child, they did so, but still charged me the full price.
