location was great. The sink in the bathroom drained very slowly. I got there on a motorcycle. I liked the sunken garden, which I found by chance. They should tell their guests about it.
Well the sink in the bathroom was almost plugged. They didn't put the coffee out till past 9:00 am. I get up at 6:00am.

I liked the room. I liked that we had a private entry. I like that we had access to the back yard and gazebo area. I like that we were minutes walking distance to cowbay or the grocery and liquor stores. I liked that my young toddler grandson had room to play in the yard. So pleased with our stay. The staff were kind, helpful, and patient with my questions. I appreciate that. So, thank you, you made us feel welcomed.
I would have liked to have had a fan for the bedrooms. Just to keep the air moving at night.

it’s character and homey feeling
no room tv or explanation of the staff not being on site after certain times

it was close to the civic centre for all native
Rented the big suite. It was dirty upon arrival… kitchen and dishes were disgusting (dishwasher was broken) workers couldn’t fix the heat for upstairs it was boiling hot had to keep all windows open. Workers didn’t know how to control heat for fake heat wood stove downstairs either. I asked for a an extra cot to be put in the suite like they did last year but all they gave this year was a duvet! Its extremely disappointing. -10/10

what I liked about the property is the location, how convenient it was to walk around or go to the supermarket, it felt secure and beds were comfy (though floor space minimal) it wasn’t to bad.
I didn’t like how it seemed the common areas weren’t really kept up with cleaning. such as the bathrooms, entire stay it seemed like the washrooms weren’t throughly cleaned just rubbish changed and maybe a spot clean though it happened possibly only twice (it seemed) throughout the stay of 5 nights, then there is the kitchen where things aren’t really tidied and organized finding a few things bit questioning with the cutlery

Due to covid, breakfast was not served. But guests can use the kitchen and cook their own food. The bed was super comfy and I loved that I was on the main floor and had private bathroom.
The first night, I could not adjust the room temp. Staff came immediately and provided a portable heater. The portable heater was great. The second night, the room temp was very good, I did not have to use the portable heater.

To small , the beds were uncomfortable, the bed frame looks like it’s gunna break , the floor needs a proper cleaning , specially under the bed that gross

quiet, well located, room clean
No staff to be found in the morning when we needed someone. Ground floor room was insecure, we were able to get into the room without a key from the street side.

Friendly, low key kinda place with a nice feeling. Great value.
I waited about ten minutes for someone to open the door when checking in at around 6pm. I had to ring the door bell repeatedly and eventually used a credit card to get through the door to knock directly on the office door to get my room key. Odd. No fans in the room. It was stuffy and quite warm - unusual for Prince Rupert, no doubt.

location
very noisy people up and talking until 2am people standing outside by the window smoking it is not the place to go if you want a night of rest

The decor was nice in room, host was very friendly.
I could not figure out how to get the heat on and the blanket was for summer - not winter. I was very cold. The temperature outside was full-on winter. The parking lot was not available because it was not ploughed or sidewalks shoveled. I know Prince Rupert is not used to that much snow but I think that it needs to be more prepared, especially for the price. I also had a really hard time finding the place. I was using google maps but drove around 3x before I found it. Could say, right across from Panago pizza on website.

Very economical and comfortable. My room was by the front door which is convenient for luggage or accessibility.
My room was by the front door which was loud at times.

Staff member on duty on the afternoon of check-in was courteous and considerate of my needs. (Name: Tam)
There was no one on reception at checkout time 8 am till 9.00 am
No breakfast was available as stated.
No one to check off the preauthorised deposit of $200.
Was not good value for money. Over priced for what is actually just a hostel.
