We stayed in two different rooms because the thermostats did not work and the rooms were too cold. First room was 67 F the first night we were VERY cold.

After difficulty finding parking we tried to check into our room only to find out they rented it to someone else so we had to find a whole new place to go

Close to central restaurants and bars
No housekeeping, no beds made, no bins emptied. Carpets looked very dirty. Sofa bed seats were marked and stained. Not pleasant to sit on.

Location was fantastic. We walked to most attractions we wanted to see. Breakfast buffet was a bonus, although more fruit would have been nice Comfortable beds.
I was overcharged. Reservation says $211.20 plus $31.89 tax = $243.09.
My credit card was charged $264.00.
I have requested a refund of $20.91.

The location
Our room was not ready when we arrived for checkout at 4 pm. So we left for awhile and came back 3 times over the span of 2 hours and there was still no room ready for us. Around 6:30 pm my boyfriend went to the desk and told them we had a show to be at by 8 pm. Miraculously, they had a room “ready.” We went upstairs to it and the room had not been touched yet. It was still dirty from the guests before. I went back to desk and told them and said we need to change and we are leaving but the room needed to be cleaned while we were gone (which was plenty of time since we would be out until bar close). I attempted to call them 3 times while we were out to make sure we did not return to a dirty room and nobody answered. Sure enough, we came back and our room was still not touched 7 hours later. They were able to find us another room so we had to drag all of our stuff to a new room at 2:30 in the morning after being out for a night of fun on our anniversary. I will say the staff was in a bad situation and was handling it the best they could but the lack of professionalism was extremely apparent. On top of that, the next morning I realized I had left my charger in the room we were in the night before and when they let us in to check, that room had still not been touched.

It was close to the venue and restaurants.
The room was awful. Half assed remodel, dirty, noisy, smelly and no water pressure. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and there were plugs on only one side of the bed so my wife and I couldn't both plug in our c-pap machines. The lighting was terrible. The heat couldn't keep a steady temperature throughout the night. The nightstand drawer was broken and would not close. The pillows on the king sized bed were the size of sofa pillows. The front desk clerk dressed like a bum and looked stoned. There was a sweet 16 party on the 6th floor and there were groups of unsupervised kids running through the halls making a grand deal of noise. The floors and elevators smelled of pot. I will never stay at another Hampton Inn again.. EVER. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The hotel was central located so we could walk to the events we were attending. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable.
The room was decent and clean except for the big stain on the carpet.

The lobby was the best thing about the property.
Unorganized, very misleading extremely dirty. 2 guest given the same room, thermostat was hanging off the wall, linen dirty and rolled up under the comforters. I've traveled over the world even to 3rd world hotels and never was I soo frustrated. I wanted to go sleep in my car due to the condition of this hotel. To pay $300 for one night in this filth was ridiculous

The location and thats it. It close enough to Fiserv Forum that we could walk and avoid paying for parking.
Ugh! Where to start? They got rid of valet parking. So guests have to park and lug their luggage around the block. No hot breakfast. "Under kitchen renovations" So that means you can't even have waffle mix? But they still happily tell you when breakfast is served. I knew the stay was going downhill when I checked in and there was no valet. A very disappointed stay.

No breakfast provided
Understandably it’s an older hotel but for the price the upgrade’s they’ve done is poor craftsmanship. We couldn’t check in at designated time but the staff was apologetic for it.
