Sauberes und ordentliches Hotel. Wir waren im Annex untergebracht. WLAN war etwas schwach.

Location is good
The building is undergoing renovations, dust everywhere in common areas
8.0 / 10.0
There are two buildings for this property - one is the old hotel and the other, an annex across the road. We were in the annex. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Had a small fridge and ice machine in the foyer. It is in the centre of town, although it is a small town.
The sink was in the main room with a very small bathroom.

Location is good
Not in the main building, it’s upstairs room across the street, the hallway looks dirty and smells badly, but the room looks clean.

Such a treat to stay in this restored old building. My room was a modern renovated one on the ground floor of their annex, across the street from the main hotel. The breakfast was excellent! The location is right in the centre of downtown, so walking distance to everything.
I didn't mind, but a caution to those with mobility issues: the access to the building is a fairly steep stairway from the boardwalk.

Right in the middle of the small town so close to everything. Friendly staff - we forgot a hat there and were able to pick it up on our way back, they kept it for us.
Room was a bit small for 3 adults

I've stayed there before. I like the old hotel but it is need of repair. Window broken and a crack in the wall. Beds comphy.
Unfortunately, staff sick so no restaurant or bar. That was a main reason to take a friend there.

Bed ultra comfortable
My room was by the laundry room, and the dryer was shaking so much it'd shake our whole room also. It woke us up every morning, which was extremely annoying.

Meals were great and location was central to everything we wanted
lack of open shops & restaurants - not sure if it was because of Covid-19 or time of year or both!

Beds
Room was way too hot had to open the window several times throughout the night.
Furniture was way too big for the room. Very little space between the bed and TV stand.

Went for the experience and ambience and it was great for that.
There was hear blasting into our room that we had no control over. It was snowing outside but it was so hot in our room that it was unbearable. We had to prop the window open all night with a fan on the windowsill.

Dawson City is a small town or about 1300 people. Being in the sub-arctic tundra, the roads are not paved (difficult to maintain), but the hotel is a historical building arguably the best hotel in town with all the amenities - right in the center of town. The in-house restaurant itself is not open on all days, but we did have breakfast and dinner once and the quality of food was second to none. As my family and I are vegetarians, we were a bit worried if restaurants in this remote region cater to vegetarians and vegans... but they did! The rooms were quite spacious, the bathrooms clean and the beds comfortable.
The staff were superb. They went out of their way to help out and were very friendly - as are most town people. We even borrowed a flashlight from them when we went out in the middle of the night to watch Northern Lights.
The network connection was sketchy. However, considering the remote location, it is probably not worth complaining about, and one should be happy that a connection is available at all. We wished the restaurants were open on all days - at least to guests staying at the hotel.

Very comfortable bed. Great location.

The hotel is very centrally located. It has a very cool old school feel with the Klondike era. The "Sour Toe" bar is located in the same building.
The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything 2-3 rooms over. I would recommend bringing ear plugs.

Location and AC
It is an old hotel but located right in middle of all the attractions. Has the famous Jack London restaurant. Our Room with 2 queens beds was small .
