Unique property in a unique setting.

Good condition for an old heritage building.
It would have been nice if the bar restaurant had better hours.

Pretty cool place!
4.0
Expensive for a small room and no handicap access.
3.0
The room was clean and updated, but the facility (hallways, lobby, etc) was very dirty. Not just a charming old feel, but especially dirty and a bit smelly.
4.0
This is a nice hotel in a great location. The staff is wonderful, very helpful. The rooms are a little overcrowded because there are two queen beds in each room and little room to get around. Parking is OK. It is mostly in a lot across the street.

Great little place

It was a bit louder at night but most likely because of people who attend the late concert.

Very nice stay at this property! Was surprised to see that they had a portable air conditioner in the room. So that helped out a lot as it was warm that weekend. Clean and historic building in the middle of downtown. Thank you!

Great hotel in the middle of town, parking was easy right outside and could walk to everywhere in town

This review is going to speak about the down of Dawson City as well as the Downtown. Because Dawson City is trying to keep its historic appeal people with disabilities are going to be pretty limited on what and where they can go and see. This is also true of the Downtown hotel. There are stairs everywhere and only a few ramps.
But once you're in the room its a very comfortable room. If you're a warm sleeper bri's a very comfortable room. If you're a warm sleeper bring a fan because even though there is a Fan in the room, you won’t find it to be enough During the summertime.
They put my sister and I in the annex, which is across the street from the main hotel, it was a really nice building once you got inside but the stairs going into the building But the stairs going into the building are a bit hellish and you have to check in across the street and go up those stairs and they are just as bad. I did request a room on the ground floor, which they gave me.

Room was clean BUT make sure you understand that very LITTLE in Dawson City is accessible.and almost everything is on dirt streets with wooden sidewalks that are unlevel and uneven. Hotel has stairs. Staff need to tell you that the locks turn opposite way from normal and sometimes are difficult to open. TV - you need a lesson in how to operate it. We finally snagged a person who could show us how to operate it. Room certainly large enough for our party and was comfortable. No air conditioning. Don't put fan on high speed or it looks like it is going to come off the ceiling. Needs some minor maintenance. Great little sitting area but couches weren't dusted but were comfortable. Ice machine. No fridge.

Very central location. Quiet. Friendly and helpful staff.

Because there’s no windows to the outside it got warm at night. Do you have to turn the ceiling fan on. I get dry eyes so not the best for me. All in all good place to stay and the restaurant is across the street and great pub good.

As it was Gold Show weekend in Dawson City, and our room was located rught at the main entrance, we found it to be noisy late into the evening.

Staff was very nice.
Hot water took over 5 minutes to come through.

Our first night was horrible experience at this hotel, because we had some party goers outside the corridor and then they removed to go upstairs and they continued their loud party up there above us in their room and they were walking around in the floor creaked all the time they were dropping bottles and we heard a gentleman or someone hoofing in the toilet couple of times all night , until we decided to sleep in the truck which was quieter.

I stayed one night in the main building everything was good. My next stay they put me in the building across from the lobby. You can hear a pin drop in the rooms beside you. People in the common area until midnight, then a couple ladys talking loudly until 4am made for almost no sleep.

Very good

I stayed in room 207 while comfortable, it is located right by the boiler/mechanical room. It was noisy. I prefer to stay in the main building, I find the beds are more comfortable than the anex. My next stay, I will request to stay away from the mechanical room in a quieter room. The Downtown hotel in my opinion is the best stay in Dawson City.

This hotel is truly amazing.

The hotel was good. It’s not to the level of big city hotels but fits its surroundings well. Beds were comfy and it’s located in the middle of town, a 5-10 minute walk from everything.
Oh hotel staff was good. Every person I dealt with had a smile on their face and made you feel welcome.
I stayed at the Downtown a number of times and am always satisfied when I leave

The beds and amenities were great. The building is clearly being gradually renovated. Needs new carpets. I didn't like a room without an exterior window.

Great location, iconic bar, service mediocre, staff seem to not really be the most enthusiastic about work.
