Great location and fantastic value for a small hotel with 40 rooms.
I was attending a conference at St. Lawrence College so it was convenient as it was only 2 km away. The breakfast that was included was wonderfully delicious and felt like the highlight of my visit! The second morning I really enjoyed the French toast and the hot bar changed it up from the day before. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean and the reusable soaps/shampoos was a great touch. The water was nice and hot; my only complaint was that the shower pressure could have been slightly better.
I wish I had used the garden patio if I had stayed longer.
I could not think of anything to improve on. Perhaps a sign to point out where the check-in desk was as it's not immediately obvious.

The staff were amazing I truly had everything taken care of and loved every interaction I had. As a Queen's alum it was so nice knowing I was supporting my school in a way too. Really enjoyed my stay.
The location is not ideal if you don't have a car but there are likely bus stops nearby and walking to Queen's is easy -- downtown a bit farther.

Location, fabulous location for our purposes, free parking, extremely plentiful and delicious breakfast. Helpful deskman gave us toothpaste as we arrived too late to go buy some.
Had to “smuggle” a pot of tea to take to our room, which is very silly. (We cannot made those little coffee machines in rooms work for tea, and you have no kettles). Server told me head server “doesn’t
“approve” of pots leaving dining room, so we cannot let her see me help you.” Really? If you call yourself a hotel, doesn’t it maybe require you actually to accommodate guests’ needs? We were shy a bath towel and housekeeping hadn’t left us enough creamers, so I called front desk. “We don’t have room service but I will see what I can do”. Someone promptly fixed it. But really…
I finally talked to head server and agreed if she would let me take a pot up to my room, I would bring it down when we came down to eat an hour later. Here am I, at 72, having to promise this to a paid hired employee.
Other than that, our bathroom door didn’t fully latch closed; it wasn’t a big deal so we lived with it and reported it on way out.

beautiful grounds, heritage building, nice staff, amazing breakfast buffet INCLUDED. They have gluten free bread and oat
milk if you ask for it. AC works very well. Stayed in room 431. Terrace is beautiful but we didn’t have the time to experience it.
only a $11 Uber ride to the downtown nightlife.
pillowcase with black pill wasn’t caught by cleaning staff.
front desk comped us a reasonable amt.

The staff was very friendly. The Breakfast buffet was very good with a nice variety. It was a great location near downtown Kingston. We would return anytime.
We didn’t have an electric car charger available, nor were there outlets available.

Breakfast in the dining room was a great way to start the day. Enjoyed the various spaces to sit during the day. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was ideal for us - central but away from the bustle of downtown.

Easy parking and good breakfast
Set a little out of town. The hotel caters mainly for conference guests and we felt a little like out of place as individuals. The hotel is beginning to look a little tired and dated in common areas and bedrooms. Facilities in the bedrooms are minimal compared with main stream hotel chains

Breakfast was great! Lots of options. Friendly staff at both reception & at breakfast.
Some of the room furnishings needs updating.

This property has an outstanding quality to price ratio as compared to other hotels in Kingston. It includes a better than average breakfast.
The room was very clean, well appointed and I had an enjoyable and quiet stay. All staffers helpful, friendly and professional.
I like the location which is close enough to Queen's University and downtown by foot/ bus but away from any downtown noise. There is also free parking which is not available downtown. I also used the fitness room.
I also got a late checkout ( 2 pm) without extra charge
I have no real complaints. Although the breakfast is better than average with a good amount of variety perhaps some hard cheeses could be added .

Beautiful old building. Room was nicely appointed and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and was delicious. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
The AC was not working. I only mentioned this on check out, however. Although it was unusually warm for April, the window opened and allowed enough cool air in to be comfortable at night.

Excellent location. Buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise.

The whole facility - common areas, dining area and room were all extremely clean and neat. The breakfast was very tasty and had a great selection of hot and cold options to enjoy.
This can't be helped of course, but the location is a bit removed from town. Not impossible to get to at all of course! But would have required some planning to get there and back. For my purposes during this trip the location was fine.

Found room very stuffy/ dry! I'm asthmatic and had a hard time!
