Very tired motel in need of complete upgrade.

Excellent location and value for money.

Rondo is old, but clean. Some effort has been made to update the unit. Only thing missing was an exhaust fan in the kitchen, and a door on the freezer of my small fridge. I just closed the door and opened the window.

No exhaust fan in kitchen. Small fridge, no freezer door, so it was iced up.

No hot tub, regardless of pictures showing one

Nice that the rooms have been Reno's including hardwood floors, fridges, and beds. The never ending hot water was also appreciated. Location is good as well.

ALERT! The hotel descriptions claim they have a hot tub with pictures, BUT they don't!! They have a broken one with no plans on fixing it. Only reason we came here was for the hot tub! False advertising. The towels are getting old as well, time for a refresh on those.

Cheap price, fairly clean for what you pay for, no breakfast, a place to sleep, and they have a kettle for tea and coffee. Bed was ok to sleep on.

The shower drain, I stayed at Rondo the previous year, with the same issue. The tub drain is very slow, after your shower the water is half way up your shins. Not ideal, but for the price it is ok I guess.

Great access to Golden!

Cheapest accommodation that allows dogs (although extra cost was unknown at time of booking). Great location that allows easy walking into downtown. Easy stay on the way to revelstoke or a night in Golden.

Bathroom could have been cleaner (found hairs in bath), hot tub was not working (and doesnt look like it has for a while) which was sad as part of the reason we booked as it was so good last time we stayed, and finally the sheets were super slippery... which meant not a great nights sleep... but it's fine for the price.

Good location. Relatively quiet

One of the beds did not appear to have clean sheets. The sheets are slippery polyester- I brought my own cotton. The bathroom is quite run down and did not appear that clean. No hand soap for washing hands.

AVOID THIS PLACE

location , bed linen was clean ,

room was dirty , floor , toilet was clean once during my 3/52 stay ,i suspect guests are cleaning bathroom floor with towels that's why even clean towels was stained and yellowish / gray rather than white, two chairs was disgustingly stained. I initially paid for 2/52 only as I wasn't sure if I will stay longer. I found my room locked when I came back at night on end of 2/52 .. My car was in front ,my stuff inside it was two am and - 15 deg. I took my 30 min to wake up owner and paid for remaining 1/52.

Beds were comfy and great quiet location.

Did not appreciate the mystery hair clippings, random strands and the lovely nail clippings on the countertop. No smoke detector either. Probably doesn't meet Code.

The room was clean and tidy, No parking issues and everything went well. Descent motel for this price.

Disappointing

Close to the hospital. Was there for an early morning knee surgery.

The management's flat out refusal to provide a reasonable late check-out on a midweek, off season day where the motel was at maybe one twentieth capacity. Management was unfriendly and unwilling to compromise considering I was there for surgery and my partner needed to get some work done while I was at the hospital. Eventually I paid the guy $40 just to let us have a late check-out of 2pm. Absolutely ridiculous considering how empty the hotel and town in general was.
