The Coach House provides a wonderful cozy home for you and your family. It is located on an estate. There are beautiful fields of green, horses, lakes, and fairy forests right in your backyard. The hosts we kind and welcoming. You’ll not be sorry to stay here.

The house was filthy! Seat cushions were stained and we had to clean the kitchen and wash the dishes prior to making a meal. Only

Our stay in the renovated coach house of a large Georgian estate was entirely happy. The coach house faces a large, car-free courtyard with attractive plantings. From our living/sitting room the view from the window was a grassy lawn and an old stone wall--we could imagine ourselves lords of the manor. The interior is comfortable with a modern kitchen. The primary bedroom suite is elegant and spacious. We'd come back!

Wonderful location and property!
The only issue was limited internet service.

We had a fantastic time at the Coachhouse. Communication, check in, we’re all top notch. The Coachhouse was so charming. Such a peaceful setting and a place to truly unwind yet close enough to Galway, Ashford Castle, the Cliffs etc. We had a great time exploring and having downtime. The drive into the property is something from a fairytale! We have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this is one of our top stays ever! Highly suggest!!

All floors were made of wood, beautiful atmosphere,
very quiet location. One shower did not work properly, but there were two others so we did not inform Finola.
Very comfortable beds!

The house was lovely, situated in a quiet courtyard with the kitchen being a highlight of the premises. The delph and utensils supllied were of high quality and a big help when travelling with a hungry family. If you like to holiday in an unspoilt area where archaeology and history abound this is the place for you. On the border between Galway and Mayo you can avail of the best both counties have to offer. Galway city and Salthill are easily accessible. As is Cong if you like cycling and forest trails. Finola made us so welcome and was always available if needed with recomendations and was very kind to our kids.

Just Fine
It suited our needs just fine for a short three night stay. The one bathroom shower didn’t work but there were two others that did so I didn’t even contact the property manager. The same bedrooms heat didn’t work but the comforters were so heavy that we managed to be comfortable enough and the heat coming from the bathroom took the edge off.

Real feel of Ireland.
This was a beautiful location except the driveway into the place was pretty long and narrow. But it was such a pretty place. The only complaint I had was the bathrooms were all upstairs so you had to climb 14 steps to get there. By the picture it looks like it is a separate house but it is attached to 2 or more other cottages. It was still very nice and had the cutest dog chained to his dog house. Very friendly. If you don't like deep into the country side it is not for you. But if you like a real feel of Ireland it is a wonderful experience. I would go again.

Not given room we booked
We weren't able to stay together. We were 4 people, husband and wife and son and friend so we needed 2 rooms one with 2 beds or a 3 room unit. We had booked the coach house and we were put in another room. And one of our party was put in a separate room. Furniture was uncomfortable, bed needed more pillows, hot water wasn't working for shower, and internet was intermittent at best.

Lovely
Everything was grand! The only exception was that the three showers in the Coach House could be much improved.

An average stay
On our arrival at the Coach House, the keys were in the door and no sign of the managers. We entered to find there were no towels for our party of 6. We rang the manager who said she would be back later that night and she would give them to us then. When she arrived we asked about hot water and were told it was on. However it was not and there was no hot water till the following day. This was not a great start to our stay. She ignored us till our departure waving as she left the property.

Countryside holiday
We were 5 of us on holiday traveling around Ireland . We wanted to stay in the country for a few nights . It was perfect ! We stayed in the Coach House . Finola and John were wonderful hosts . Saffron the dog was always happy to see us . If you appreciate a historic estate this is perfect . Built in the 1700’s it was fun exploring the main house and the gardens . Hope to return again soon !

What an experience
Upon driving up to the Estate Home we knew we were in for an amazing stay. The views and history that are associated with their estate give you another perspective on life. We were immediately greeted by Finola and shown our lodgings. The lodgings were very nice, and comfortable, but then you get to walk around their estate as well. We visited with the horses and very friendly pet dog, Saffron, and then walked amongst about 50 sheep and lambs. Truly amazing. We would definitely revisit their home. Just lovely.

A gorgeous property and grounds. The coach house is beautiful and has all you could need except perhaps a landline phone and clothes drying rack or dryer. Fiona is very friendly and helpful. A short drive to just about anywhere, and nearby Headford has gas, groceries, and pharmacy.

Home away from home
Wonderful stay on this lovely estate. Finola and John were great hosts. The cottage was lovely and the beds were the most comfortable ever! Plenty of room for 5 guests. Took a walk and met the farm animals on the estate which overlooks a scenic lake. Would definitely return if back to Ireland!

Perfect Irish Accomodations!
My family and I recently stayed at the Heritage Coach House for our one week getaway to Ireland and I have to say that we enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house was tucked away in a beautiful, serene setting in the Irish countryside and off the beaten path (which is exactly what we envisioned when we booked). Every bedroom had an en suite so my older kiddos were very happy too! We cooked many meals in the pretty kitchen and enjoyed the scenery outside, including playing kickball in the courtyard and walking Finola's sweet doggy around the grounds. The location was great too, just a short drive to Galway, the Wild Atlantic Way, and to lots of amazing Pubs. I also cannot say enough about Finola and her family for being such gracious hosts! She saw to it that our stay was nothing but perfect. We even had a sick 3 year old, and Finola recommended a brilliant Pediatrician in town that we got in to see immediately for an unfortunately timed ear infection. She was a wealth of information, so helpful, and always available for us the entire stay.
We cannot WAIT to come back and will definitely be lodging here when we do!! We absolutely, highly recommend this estate!

Other--worldly Beautiful
This historical family estate consists of a few buildings within a large parcel of mostly wooded property. It’s secluded and quiet, yet just a few minutes drive from the lovely town of Headford. Our “Coach House” was ar the end of a four-unit building in a quiet courtyard. The stone walls between the housing units are so thick, you will not hear your neighbors. The owner/manager (Findlay) lives across the courtyard in a separate building, and like the housekeeping staff, she is a warm, attentive, and knowledgeable host. Our quarters were clean as a whistle, too. Being nestled in a courtyard of ivy-adorned stone buildings made my wife and I feel like we were living in a 16th Century village —- complete with its own dog: Saffron! She’s the sweetest white lab you’ll ever see. And, as a special bonus Finola will let you take her for walks. When I looked out of our second story bedroom window and waved at her in the courtyard, her tail would wag like a windshield wiper on its fastest setting. That seemed to mean it was time for yet another of our long walks through the bucolic Irish countryside. Heaven!

Wonderful location, lovely house, very comfortable. Extremely friendly & helpful owners. Just useful to have had a few more kitchen utensils for some simple cooking.
