Nice place to stay if you don’t mind elevator , parking and breakfast.

Doesn’t Have basic things like elevator . Doesn’t have parking lot. Doesn’t have breakfast.

Decent place to stay in a good location

Not a very comfortable bed, bad WiFi (weak signal and regular disconnects).

Superb

The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Free coffee is available every morning, but no breakfast. It is very conveniently located close to the heart of Ottawa.

Excellent location, I would go again.

Location, location, location. Clean room, clean hotel, excellent coffee machine in the common area (at a fee outside of breakfast hours).

If I remember well, they used to serve breakfast but this was not the case in November 2022. I wonder why that is. Only four parking spots. On-street parking is free in some periods but this can be annoying.

Great stay

Friendly staff on arrival, good-sized room with great facilities (the curling iron was a lovely touch) and a comfortable bed. Good location too, 10 minutes walk from both Rideau Centre and Byward Market.

Only downside was the noise from outside which was very audible (i think the windows were single glazed) and did affect my sleep on the first night. However, this would be easily avoided via earplugs (I just didn't have any).

Clean

No tissue, No slippers, No breakfast, very expensive. They don't even remove the garbage every day from the rooms. No elevator. They don't have a person to help the old or sick people with the luggage as they don't have even internal elevator.

Exceptional

The place was lovely. Had a wonderful energy about it. Warm, comfortable and relaxing. Spotlessly clean. Very nice modern looking room with everything that you may need during your stay including curling iron, bathrobs , nespresso machine and much more. I had a great sleep in a super comfy bed with beautiful duvet. There is also a gorgeous French style garden with lots of plants. The owner is very pleasant, welcoming and accomodating. Great location. Just a short walking distance to Byward Market.

Nice friendly & cozy hotel to explore Ottawa.

Our room was comfortable and a nice size, loved having a nespresso machine in the room, owner was extremely kind and friendly, the outdoor garden sitting area was lovely. We were closely located to Rideau centre mall, byward market, short walk to many museums. a good base to explore the city.

while the location was conveniently located, the neighbour hood was a bit rougher than expected. I did feel safe with the hotels security though. parts of the room could have been cleaner, for example, inside the bathroom vanity drawers with the blow dryer had hair in it and could have been wiped down better.

Lovely Hotel close to Byward Market

The hotel is a couple of blocks from Byward Market so in a great location. In the morning, I went downstairs and the proprietor made me the best latte! The room was very clean. It also had a Nespresso machine, curling iron and night light which was great to have.

Better instructions for using the TV. Rooms a bit small, but still cozy.

Do not expect much from your stay here apart from the location.

Location is perfect as its right downtown. There is no breakfast apart from a coffee machine. The room is small and i mean small as i even overheard a comment from another guest with the same sentiment.

The room opposite me was twice the size of mine with a decent size desk to work on however i got the much smaller room. Housekeeping opens ones door and then leaves it open for anybody and everybody to enter. This happened on 3 occasions. The bathroom is really ultra small.

beautiful hotel in downtown

the location is ideal as it walking distance to a lot of the interesting locations in Ottawa. the decor is quite nice in the room

if you value space then make sure you book one of the larger rooms. i booked one of the double bed rooms and the room was quite small.

Nice rooms, comfy beds, nice coffee in the morning. Sabina is friendly and helpful. A great stay.

The hotel is not accessible. Narrow stairwell and no elevator.
