The Terrace Green B&B was the most incredible experience we have ever had! My sister and I along with our partners took a trip to the area and booked into this adorable little Bed & Breakfast hosted by the amazing Annette. From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were stunned at this property’s beauty and the amount of love put into keeping it so stunning. We were greeted by the most well mannered, sweetheart of a pup named Fred and our lovely host Annette who gave us a quick tour and showed us to our thoughtfully put together room! We stayed in room number 1 which is equipped with two double beds, all the amenities you’ll need for a great stay as well as a beautiful view of the maintained garden and little pond :) Annette made sure we had everything we needed and even recommended a great spot for dinner that night which had the most incredible loaded baked potato pizza EVER! (Definitely check out the Iron Forge just minutes down the road) In the morning Annette made us the most delicious breakfast that was the perfect way to start off a very busy day. You can without a doubt see how much love and attention to detail and effort goes into running Terrace Green every day and we are so so grateful Annette and Jim chose to share their slice of paradise with us. We will definitely be back and 1000% recommend you book into the amazing Terrace Green B&B :))

I loved the country setting in such a charming house.

This is a pleasant property to walk around and see. Annette has is set up to relax and enjoy the scenery. Pond , flowers and a great deck to sit out on and have your morning coffee/tea . I would recommend this B & B to anyone who likes a quiet setting .

Wonderful

We were greeted promptly at the door by our very personable host and shown our room and the facilities. The place was immaculately clean. We were provided with info on where to eat. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent.

Top Knotch!!

We loved the whole feel of the home. Totally comfortable right from the start. Annette was so welcoming and we became friends over a couple of card games!! The rooms and breakfasts were amazing. Without exaggeration, it was our best B&B experience. Thanks Annette and Jim!!

Exceptional

Annette is fantastic. Can't do enough for you. I was in a predicament as couldn't get home because of the storm. Dinner was provided and washed my clothes. Super friendly, personal service.

Zero. If you just want basic, clean and excellent service then look no further.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Annette is attentive and works very hard to accommodate you nicely.

The location was great as near activities we were in the area to attend. Enjoyed the breakfast very much - poached egg on croissant and asparagus with a light cheese sauce

Spacious room, nice property

We liked the very wide and beautiful garden, our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Annette is a friendly hostess and was able to accommodate our late arrival. There were plenty of fresh towels for us to use.

The noise of the ventilation in the room was disturbing and kind of loud. The breakfast Annette prepared for us was tasty and innovative (a tiny fruit salad and a poached egg with dill on a few shoots of asparagus and cream cheese on half a croissant), but it was very little food to count as a full breakfast. It would have been nice to have been offered more fruit and/or toast and jam or something similar or at least 2 eggs. We left hungry.

A pleasant overnight stay.

The setting was beautiful. The dog, Fred was well behaved and added an extra homey touch The large tub was worth the wait. I adore the chaise longe that was in the room. It was superbly comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful and I can't wait to try making it myself.

We arrived to find out our room had been given to someone else staying a longer duration than our stay. The host was in the middle of a massage and gave us the excuse that we had cancelled, according to her records (I had the confirmation number and the proof that we did not cancel with me, and presented it to her). Then insisted she saved a room specificallyfor us after stating this, leading us to believe that she was being less than honest. Why would you "save a room" for someone who has cancelled? Not only was the saved room not as nice, it was also a less expensive room she was charging us the full price of the original room for (as we had paid upfront). Instead, we stayed at another bed and breakfast where we were treated like guests instead of just a paycheque. We will never attempt booking here again.

Exceptional

Breakfast was fabulous and served by our wonderful and friendly hostess Annette. Her home made peach preserves were definitely something to write home about.The grounds were beautiful and room we stayed in was spacious and had everything we needed. We were met upon arrival by Fred, the owner’s golden doodle, who made us feel at home right away. He captured our hearts.

That we only stayed for one night.

Breakfast was fantastic. Home cooking at its finest. Loved having the dog greet me each day.

Bed mattress could be improved to a more luxurious softer brand to blend with the rest of the character and quality of the room. Location was great for me to where I was working. Great country feel.

The custom made breakfast was exceptional! The room was very spacious and decorated with style. The bathroom/tub were amazing. My girlfriend loved hanging out on the lounger.

Superb

It was a great environment for our wedding preparations and day of shenanigans as well as completely perfect for photos. Everyone loved Fred, the golden doodle, and he quickly became a part of the wedding party. At our request we only enjoyed one breakfast. The scrambled eggs were fantastic and I very much appreciated our hostess cooking at different times to accommodate "hair and make-up".
