I've been a Marriott bonvoy member for before it was bad boy and it was this Marriott Rewards stated other countries the islands in the city. The staff is always been excellent professional until this last day when I call the Marriott in Mystic Connecticut and she wanted to verify who I was and I gave her my name my email and my Marriott Convoy number and she asked me when where was the last place I stayed at the Marriott and I said couple years ago I said Hartford Connecticut and she goes what month I'm like I have the slightest idea she must have asked me that three times and I told her three times I don't know she goes I need to ask this question to verify it's you. So I did some research in that she had my name my address my email my phone number and my Marriott my voice number she did not need to know what month 2 years ago when I stayed at America. And she was basically talking down to me and I've never experienced that with your brand until now. I only have 8,000 points so I paid cash for the room and ask him to put my incidentals using my voice points when I got my bill the next afternoon that never happened. The room was great it's comfortable room service was fine everything else was as it should be except for that one lady when I was making the reservation and I called about my point. And she sarcastically told me that you only have 8,000 points 30,000 points for a room and she said it kind of like you know not in a nice way.
Like I said the only thing that I was disappointed was the woman that I talked to on the phone she was sarcastic she was talking down to me I was kind of shocked she kind of like the little me though so I pay you know I put the room on my credit card and I asked you the points for my incidentals and again like I said that never happened. I do reviews for Google I've got like 40,000 people that have read my reviews on different properties and restaurants and so forth. Like I said your brand is phenomenal I love going to the Marriott the Ritz and your other locations Center connected with your brand. This lady was just unprofessional and rude and I was shocked because I've never experienced that with the Marriott. I called and tried to not make a complaint I didn't want to get her in trouble but I wanted you guys to know what I experienced in that kind of fell on deaf ears too and I really didn't have the time to go any further with it so I can. And at that point with the lady I wasn't even going to ask her to it was my girlfriend's birthday so you know a lot of times you know I just wanted like a balloon a couple balloons didn't seem like she wanted to talk so I just let it go I didn't do anything I didn't even ask. Am frühen Morgen hat ein Hotelangestellter genau vor unserer Zimmertüre mit einem Raum- Duftspray hantiert, danach hat unser ganzes Zimmer unangenehm gerochen.

Clean. Easy to get to.
When we first arrived we were given our room key and that was it. Never told about how the breakfast(which was included in the stay) worked, the hours it was available… never told where any of the hotel amenities were…
The worst part was the heat/ac would make a loud bang every time it went on. You couldn’t set the fan to always be running to avoid that noise. Also room temp would not be set lower than 68…. Terrible nights sleep..

we were informed the Restuarant would be open until 10:30, however when we arrived at 9:45pm others were seated and eating and we were informed it was no longer open. We had to eat in the bar area. Food choices limited and waited 25 min to order and 60 before we were served. While those at the bar arrived after us and were served their food 20 minutes before us. Waitress at bar was very rude.

Nice entrance
No hit water from the time we got there to the time ur was to check out. Unbelievably disappointed for paying almost $400 for a night and driving all the way there from PA.
The toilet ran all the time. And everytime the heat kicked in it knocked like a hammer every single time before it kicked on. Did not get a peaceful sleep then woke up to shower and the water was so cold.

The smart TV.
The room was over 80 degrees and could not be cooled down. Management lied to us and told us the HVAC system has been out for "a couple of days", but the maintenance staff who came in to open our windows informed us it had been over two weeks. Upon informing the front desk of this and expressing our displeasure, I was merely offered a voucher for coffee, and all of my concerns were dismissed. The staff was deceitful and unresponsive when addressing the heat issue. It took over 4 hours to just get maintenance to come into the room and open the window that had been bolted shut. Additionally, maintenance did not arrive until after 10:30pm, which is inexcusably late. Furthermore, the shower was improperly functioning, and the self-holding hose did not work - but management didn't seem concerned!

The food was disappointing. Unimaginative, overcooked, and bland tasting. The pasta was not drained of water for the dish I ordered at the bar. Came swimming in water.

The new Helmsman restaurant was fantastic. Our dinner was so delicious! Wait staff was excellent.
Our shower was clogged, and overflowed the first time we used it. The water barely was hot enough in the shower. Room service never cleaned our room the second day even though we were gone from 10am- 3 pm. The breakfast buffet was just ok.

Breakfast was great, the service was good, it took a little longer because there was a group for a wedding so it was kind of busy.
We were assigned a handicap room which was fine, except that there is no carpeting on the floor so it felt a little cold and not as cozy as if there had been carpeting. We understand the need for it but were surprised to be given this room.

Breakfast was at the Starbucks. Good egg sandwich but took 20 minutes as it was very understaffed, line across the lobby.
We reserved a king with a pullout, were given a king with no pullout. They quickly switched rooms but there were no linens in the room for the pullout and we waited over an hour for linens- with 3 requests, and finally had to go down to service desk to get them ourselves and even then, they did not have comforter or pillows, just a sheet and a blanket. Finally a pillow was delivered but the whole ordeal took over 90 minutes and my daughter, starting college the next day, was exhausted. They are severely understaffed. Room was band new and very clean but what hotel does not keep an extra blanket in the room, at the minimum? For $475 for one night I did expect much better service and a better stocked room.

Late check in because our room was not ready. Rude front desk staff, except for the older lady who was running cover for the young unfriendly kids that were making everyone mad.

We were assigned a room that was below what we booked (we booked a sofa bed and the room was without one). We called reception and asked for a room with a sofa bed or a roll away bed. They said they didn't have a room with a sofa bed (that was on the reservation) and will send a roll away bed. Three hours later and after two more call we got a roll away bed with a mattress that was very squeaky on every movement. When we went to reception it turned out that they did have a room with a sofa bed. Both room were not very clean either. This is the first bad review that I have ever submitted just not what you would expect after a long day of driving from a 4 star hotel.

Shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. Pillows were too soft. Ironing board unstable and iron lost its non stick. No dressing gowns to go to pool.
