It was a good stay minus the charge for my dog almost being the same price I rented the room for , I usally pay $20-$25

It was clean and quiet

When I booked it says pet friendly but does not give you the price for the dog, after getting there and signing in he asked if I had a pet ? I said yes my dog , he says ok $44 a night , couldn’t believe that, I paid $58 plus fees for the room and just because my dog was sleeping in the room it’s another $44.08 , a little crazy , I told him he needs to put the price of the pet on his website, he replied, it says pet fee , I just wonder if I had one of my grandkids with me it would be another $44 ??

Great location, good value, and very pleasant room

Upgrade of bathroom and Keurig coffee maker size of fridge and room

Prefer dark coffee roast to house blend, can hear plumbing from other troops

The location was excellent. Very close to the ocean, eateries and grocery stores.

A good, modestly priced hotel.

The rooms are well equipped (microwave, refrigerator, etc.). The staff were especially helpful in keeping me informed when there was an internet outage (not their problem).

I was disappointed to learn that there was major construction going on, with an addition to the hotel being built just a few doors from my room. I tolerated the noise, but why wasn't I told about this in advance?

comfy clean room for a decent price in convenient location

convenient location behind Costco, across from strip Mall, beside Pizza Restaurant. Comfy bed, hot shower in nice renovated bathroom, clean room with fridge, microwave & Kureg coffee maker.

The dusty hair dryer and heater were the worst. Rust came out of the shower head.

Great little place to stay on a budget

Rooms are spacious and feature nice amenities including microwave and fridge with freezer. Bathroom is dated but clean. Staff was very friendly. Location is great with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby and the freeway easily accessible.

Water pressure could have been better. Door was not completely in frame, so cold air could enter. AC was very loud. Bed was a bit too small and too soft for my taste.

Worth the price, very clean !

Great place, very close to everything, the room was very clean and fresh! The bathroom was clean and clean towels, worth for the price , great location as well!

Restful time, & close to what we needed.

The availability and cleanliness. It was very affordable, too, so we could splurge on expensive Monterey restaurants and not worry about the bank account.

Nothing. It was perfect for one night to sleep. I could see how some would be concerned because it's more in an industrial/car mall type of area rather than resort-like but it's really close to all stuff Monterey.

Spacious and clean room

Very clean and spacious room. Very comfortable king sized bed. Good hot shower! Check in was very easy and receptionist was friendly.

Not very cheap but understandably everything is expensive these days. Overall good value.

It was a good stay with clean location.

I liked that this property was affordable clean and located fairly close to Monterey’s beaches. They also are dog friendly.

I didn’t like their beds. They are cheap and uncomfortable. I also didn’t like they didn’t have many spots for dogs to go potty. Also they have pricey fee added per night for having a dog.
