Checked all the boxes for the right price.

Location, price and the ability to use an elevator to take all my son’s sensory stuff up to the third floor. Person who checked me in was kind and helpful. Two beds was hard to get a guarantee with other properties. This one came through.

I went back to book another night and waited for 25 minutes before finding out they were super booked. It wasn’t anyone’s fault, it was just a waste of time.

Convenient affordable location for SFO

The location was excellent and easy to access public transport. The lodge needs a little TLC and perhaps some upgrades but my room was more than adequate and quite large as well.

Overall good

Hotel is located in a good area a lot to see walking distance.

A fishy smell in the hall of the elevator but I believe that was due to restaurant located next door. Did not realize a mini fridge was not included

Old, smelly and no facilities

Location was ok

The rooms are old and wouldn’t have been renovated since the 90’s (the photos appear to reflect when they were first opened). It smelt old and mouldy. The bathroom is very old and small, the basin was in the room which was odd. No facilities in the rooms (eg. a small bar fridge) and the facility has no restaurant / gym etc.

Adequate stay

Bed was big, comfortable and clean. There was heating and the manager was really helpful and gave some good recommendations and advice about not leaving valuables in the car. We stayed one night and it was adequate. It had a bed, a T.v. that was playing the Back to the Future trilogy (which we enjoyed) the bathroom was tidy and had hot running water.

The room smelt damp - the carpet needs to be replaced and there is a sign in reception saying that there are chemicals in the building that can cause cancer and birth defects (if pregnant) - we suspected this to be asbestos.

Don’t waste your time here!

Honestly I didn’t like anything about it!

The location was ehh, the conditions of the room though were not at all what it portrayed in the photos! I feel like I was completely misled. The beds were not comfortable as others stated they were. The room was so dark and gloomy, it felt like we were in a dungeon. Even my kids didn’t like the vibe. The shower didn’t drain as it should. A typical shower felt like a bath, perhaps the other side of the hotel was the upgraded part but the part that we were in were very old and dingy.

Great location for my bicycling goals were to visit the Wharf and Pier 33 for the Alcatraz tour.

No breakfast; parking was 25 $ a day which was not clearly stated but worth it; wonderful staff!

I wanted a mini-bar but was glad it wasn't there. It saved me money and I lost a few pounds.

Great location, good price

Basic but clean and great location and price. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful - we arrived a day late due to cancelled flights and they were unfazed.

I couldn't find another room in any other place so I was stuck there

Great location to explore the piers.

This hotel was close to areas I wanted to explore. Took me awhile to find a Starbucks for breakfast. Location was great. I walked from my hotel to the Golden Gate Bridge and over the bridge and back.

The first night was hard to sleep due to neighbours kids being loud. Had a little problem with Wifi, but asked for help at the desk. Bathroom was very small to maneuver in, but I managed.

Good hotel

In general, everything was good. During our stay, the staff were very helpful and kind. We were a big family and got rooms that were connected. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Communication with the staff before the stay. I tried to reach them by message to modify my dates of the reservation, didn't answer my messages. I had to call several times to Booking.com (and pay long distance calls) who help me to contact directly the hotel, as intermediary, and three days later they finally answered. The modification was done.
