Great location. Breakfast muffin was ok, coffee cold, weak.
Only complaint is the breakfast
3.0
Didn’t eat breakfast there.
The location great. Comfortable room, but the whole establishment is worn around the edges, bedspreads frayed, wooden bed platform looking worn and shabby, coffee table chipped up, you get the gist. Just a bit more effort ?? Time to invest
in a simple upgrade. And to monitor the housekeeping staff (bathroom floor wicked sticky when we arrived-with cleaning residue! - rinsing with fresh water is the simple answer, as that’s what we had to do). This isn’t rocket science guys, so get to it and then I’ll consider returning!!

Location
We had water coming through the roof and wet our dinner clothes which were hanging. We had to change to a smaller room and smaller bathroom and then wasted 4 hours of our day to move, dry our clothes and wait for key. We were told we would be compensated then no one returned numerous calls and one email. This ruined our trip.

She thought it was clean
Nickle and dime you to death.
No room services or cleaning on weekends.
Features you'd expect are missing.
Shoddy maintenance; hanging smoke detectors, dead electric outlet, no bath mat.
4.5
Check in, Valet Parking, Use of Pool and Hot Tub. Check out..
Roon door handle was loose and it took a few attempts for key card to read and allow entry into room.
3.0
The location was in walking distance to all downtown Portsmouth. The valets were very friendly.
The bar/lounge was severely lacking. Not cozy, no atmosphere.... boring and under-whelming.
4.5
The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The shower was excellent and very roomy. The couch was comfortable and nice place to relax. The location was walking distance to alot of the downtown area
Needs a better restaurant in the hotel.
3.5
Things were clean throughout, I just figured for the price it would be a little higher end.
Rooms and linens are looking a little tired. We’d just stayed at a Hampton Inn the nights before and the hotels were the very same but had a $100 difference. Hampton Inn also offers breakfast and coffee. Hilton Garden breakfasts are $15/person with burned coffee in the lobby.

The location
the halls and elevator needed to be cleaned
1.0
The location was great but that was about it.
Two different types of mold in the shower. The duvet covers looked very old and worn. Likewise for the furniture and the carpet had stains.
4.0
The location of the hotel was very central. We could walk to everything.
Extra charge for parking. This was mentioned on the website but still 40 dollars per day is expensive.
5.0
Location was central to everything!
Side door lock didn't work correctly so entrance always had to be via front door.
4.5
The hotels location made it possible to walk to all restaurants, bars and historical locations that we wanted to see.
We thought everything was perfect.
3.0
The staff was great
For the price I was paying I expected a much cleaner hotel
3.5
Convenient location within walking distance of downtown Portsmouth. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful !
The finishes were a bit worn out for such an expensive room .
5.0
location was perfect , shops food in walking distance
3.5
The staff were professional, and the location was fantastic.
The parking was irritating and expensive. The top sheets on the bed were worn. The queen beds are more like double or full size. The hot tub had no Jets. No complimentary breakfast.

This is a great place to stay to discover Portsmouth. You’re within walking distance but just far enough away so there’s no noise. Clean & comfortable accommodations.
A highlight was Bartender Theresa. She is lovely! Professional, kind, helpful & fun! She makes an impact & a difference. She wholeheartedly represents the hotel’s hospitality. You’re lucky to have her!
Nothing, except parking price is steep.

The staff was nice the location
They clean your room only if you ask the hotel is outdated they charge for breakfast and overpriced snack bar no ice or hot tub pool is on street level so anybody walking by can watch you to go into the hotel you have to go to aside door but the main door is by card only limited parking

They (Hilton not booking.com) would not reimburse an accidental double booking. Even though the hotel was NOT full and they “The Hilton, wouldn’t have lost money. Very angry actually and will never stay at another Hilton nor use booking.com.
4.5
Great location, comfortable rooms
Black mold in the bathtub. Always disappointed when I see any type of mold, since it is easily remedied with a little spray of bleach.

Staff friendly, readily answered questions about the city
Clean and comfortable

Location is great
The hotel was run down- comforter had pulls- stains on the rugs- everything was worn out!
2.0
The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and updated.
The pool was closed due to poor parenting & a child had an accident. The staff lacked customer service as we paid to use the amenities and they were closed. I feel we’re should have been reimbursed. The breakfast was also terrible, overpriced for a basic continental breakfast. Not too mention the staff staring you down every piece of food you picked up, it was very uncomfortable. We asked the front desk if breakfast was included and her response was 7am, completely didn’t listen & was too busy chatting it up with maintenance. Also, none of the channels would work on our tv, all stated poor connection, which is super fun for children. Lastly, while checking out the front desk didn’t even ask how our stay was, therefore, the reasoning behind living this response.
