The reception was nice, we got there late and the man on duty was friendly and knowledgeable. When we left the woman on duty was the same. Both represented the hotel wonderfully.

Was not there long enough. Wife said could here people upstairs when they got moving. Not sure that is a complaint, heard the same thing when we had our house.

The rooms have everything and was very neat and clean.

People hung outside my window late and made noise. It was a Friday and they possibly were on vacation but I just stopped there to lay my head down for the night.

I reserved a non-smoking room, but since the entire hotel smelled like smoke, our room also smelled like smoke and we unable to stay. We went next door to another hotel, and I have yet to hear back from Sonesta about my refund.

Old windows, kind of loud since highway is literally behind parking lot. Too many people smoking weed and then going inside laundry room/ gym and leaving a stink of skunk which makes using the gym impossible.(gym has broken equipment but nobody fix it) Coffe machine makes something I cannot even call coffe…need to have real coffe, at least in the morning . Kitchenette does not work properly, really hard to cook anything, either off or burning, only 2 pans(sticky) , no dishwasher soap, nothing to hand wash no soap, sponge(had to buy my own)… Staff is nice, but overall the price is way to high for what you are getting in return.

No breakfast offered

Room could use an update. Carpet quite worn. Amenities we missing. Only 1 folk in drawer. No back up toilet paper or paper towel rolls. Room set up for two but had only one chair to sit at table. Recliner was broken at foot lift. Keys would only work one day so had to rekey them twice during our three day stay to enter our room which was on the third floor. Sad to think that guests “lift” amenities that are placed in the room for their comfort and those of others; they are not “free for the taking”.

Our room was as described. Check in process was simple. Good free coffee in the hotel store, free laundry was also nice to have. Kitchen in room was nice had plenty of shelf space for our food.

A lot of guests on our floor did not adhere to the no smoking policy, so the hallways smelled of cigarettes and weed. Not sure if there is a way to kick out guests who obviously ignored that rule. Hotel room phone did not work so whenever I had a question or request I had to go down to front desk. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in room had to go out and buy our own.

Unfortunately, there was nothing positive to say about this hotel other than the fact that the location is convenient to other amenities.

The list of things that make this hotel undesirable is long, but several factors outweigh the others. 1. Filth: When we pulled into the parking lot for the hotel, we instantly regretted the decision to stay here. On the outside, the hotel looks like a run down business that is barely handing by a thread, and this should have been enough to cause us to find a different hotel. Unfortunately, we’d pre-paid for the room, so we chose to go ahead and stay. This hotel smelled so strongly of animal urine and feces that it was literally nauseating. This rancid smell permeated each and every crevice of the hotel, including the hallways and the room. Our room was disgusting. Trash cans hadn’t been emptied prior to our arrival, and debris was littered throughout the floor in each location of the room. It truly looked as if no one had vacuumed in months. We’d planned to use the sleeper sofa, but we found pills (and other nastness) shoved under the cushions. In several spots, there was some sort of weird residue on the walls. God only knows what that was… Someone else’s clothing was wadded up and shoved in drawers in the bedroom, and costume jewelry was littered about the room. Two rolling pins and some sort of flexible greenery was also shoved into a dresser drawer! I’m afraid to even consider why those items might have been there. 2. Noise: Outside noise wasn’t an issue; however, it sounded as if people above our room had arranged a party on both nights that we stayed at this hotel. It literally sounded as if a stampede was occurring above our heads. On Friday night (going into early Saturday morning), we ended up calling the front desk two separate times to report the insane amount of noise above us. Staff members were nice and tried to resolve the issue, but, ultimately, the noise didn’t stop until those above us either passed out or died. The only solution the hotel had to offer was calling the police. I’m unsure if they actually contacted law enforcement.

There was no breakfast offered at this location! I was not checked into the correct Sonesta in North Olmsted Cleveland, OH.

First time ever in Cleveland Ohio. Had a booked reservation with Sonesta. This location did not have any amenities to stay a long period. No pool, no free breakfast offered, no lounge, and no restaurant. Very misleading, the check in process was very rushed, while trying to ask questions, as both me and my sister are disabled. The check in clerk, knew we was at the wrong location .But, continued with check in, even though we was trying to ask questions. As the amenities were not what we booked for a Thursday - Monday stay. The room looked as it had not been cleaned in a while. There was a dirty used wet towels left in a draw in the restroom. The towels were stained, looked so bad. No white at all. Had to call for towels, everyday. The bathtub was not clean! My bed had a big ink stain in the middle of the fitted sheet. No toilet paper. 2 tvs, but only 1 remote worked. Furniture very worn. No paper towels dispenser. Had two room key cards. I had to go downstairs to have them fixed 3 times. The barbecue area, wasn’t able to sit out, unless you wanted to be stung by hornets, due to an hornets nest. The elevator is very slow and not to trust worthy. We did have to continue the stay, since, of course, the Sonesta is owned differently . Which was very disappointing! No management was available to consult with about this unbelievable poor quality stay. Of course we left the room clean better than it was. It is our courtesy to leave an tip and leftover items for housekeeping.

Couldn't beat the price compared to other hotels. When we checked in, the lady was very nice, and she got us all set up and allowed us to select our floor level. Room was fantastic and was clean! Was hard to believe that it was a 2 star hotel. I've stayed in 4 star hotels that couldn't even compare to this. I booked this hotel after reading reviews and so glad that we stayed here

Bed was a little softer for my liking but that's just my preference of a firm bed. Otherwise, nothing.

The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Great customer service, very nice accommodations, would stay here again.

Convenient location

My ratings on the questionnaire pretty much says it all

We booked the one bedroom. Bed comfortable. On the top floor and very quiet. Free popcorn in the evening.

I liked the room and the facilities. It was close to Walmart and plenty of restaurants.

I found a couple roaches in the kitchen and bathtub.
