Generally, my stay was fine, but the couch in the room was in terrible condition and I refused to sit on it. I tried to upload it for this review but was unable to. Outside the door and the steps leading up to the room were in dire need of painting and repair

Stayed here as a stop over on our way to Buffalo. Location was great (off the highway and close to eating options). Room was large and although it was a suite, it didn’t have any cups for the in room coffee maker (or any cups, plates, etc). Door was difficult to open and another guest said it was because it was “kicked in” by someone (which was unsettling). We eventually got in the room and it locked ok. Would stay again because of the location.

We booked this Suite 3 weeks in advance when we arrived from California we were told we could not check in until 4 PM, we came back at 4 PM and there was a big sign taped to the door saying due to a discrepancy. The lobby is shut down and please call this number… called the number for two hours straight there was no answer whatsoever This is one of the most unprofessional establishments I’ve ever dealt with in my life

We had to switch rooms because the first the toilet was clogged and the key card would not work. After changing rooms still had issues with the key card not working much of the time. We had to ask for more towels-not enough for people booked. There was no housekeeping service. Had to take out the trash and make beds ourselves. When more towels needed had to take back the dirty ones to get clean. We needed the sofa bed but had to call for linen and make it ourselves. Had to ask for another pillow. All pillows were extremely flat.

We spent two nights while our own home was under repair, and while not the highest quality place, it was an affordable and comfortable stay. We liked being able to use the kitchen and the outdoor space (pretty little walkways, basketball court). The fireplace didn’t work, but in May we didn’t care. The pool was just being filled for the season. Great location near Crocker Park!

The exterior had some issues, like rotting looking stairs etc so i was glad we were on the first floor. When i entered the room, the first thing we noticed was all of the pillows and cushions for the sofa and chairs were all over the floor and all of the cabinets and drawers and closet doors etc were all wide open/pulled out drawers. It was really weird. I called the front office but there was no answer-even though I had just left the counter. The room itself is like the pictures just more used and not kept up that nicely. Even the dispensers in the bathroom with shampoo and body wash etc were empty. The King bed only had two horrible pillows..called up to ask for more which you have to drive to get, but they were "out" so we could only get one. They made sure to make you sign a form stating that there were no refunds before issuing a key etc. Under certain circumstances, I might stay there again but for sure my expectations were too high for this place. We stayed 3 nights.

Rooms are fine but aging. There are no elevators so if you have mobility issues be sure to get on the ground floor. Workout room very limited. Easy on/off I-90 and close to major dining/shopping area.

We stayed 2 nights. The amenities described in the listing were not accurate at all. The kitchen was not well equipped it had 2 plates and 2 coffee cups, the caulking around the tub looked like they were trying to cover up mold or mildew, the shampoo conditioner and shower gel dispensers were empty and they left 3 little tiny bottles on the counter, there was only half a roll of TP and no backup roll, the air was not working properly it never got below 77 and the fan ran all night long so I called the front desk and told them they said they would let maintenance know but no one ever came. The area is not well maintained at all. I will not be coming back

I arrived very early and it seemed they didn’t go out of their way to attempt to prioritize my check in before the 4pm check in. They did allow me to use the pool, so that helped, but it was too hot to be outside for long.

Good value for the money. I would return but it is not without its faults. The good: Staff was friendly. It had a pool , and a mini play area for basketball and volleyball. Rooms were acceptably clean and there was a gas fireplace which was kind of cool/would be great in winter or even for those who wanted something more romantic, and the kitchen area was useful. The bad: Staff was there only from 8 am to 11 pm, there was not always coffee first thing in the morning, the pool had some annoyance with insects, sports equipment that was provided for free was not always there. The ugly: Not much. The bathtub/toilet area is tiny and the bathtub could use a grab bar for wheelchair/aged guests. Overall: Seriously, it is good value for your money. You get a large spacious room, a kitchenette, access to an outdoor pool, and the surrounding area had plenty of restaurants, shops and places to buy groceries. The place is not perfect but good value. I'd go back at the price.

I expected better quality and security from a Sonder property. We had a near break-in at 12:18 am. Luckily, we had the top lock on. We called the front desk immediately and they told us it was security checking rooms!! But that didn't make sense because we had the lights and TV on! We didn't sleep that night, and when we talked to the front desk in the morning, we expected them to comp our stay after a horrible experience. Instead, they shrugged it off as if it were an accident. At a glance, the room seemed okay, but then we realized the dishes and pans were worn out and not clean. We had no garbage cans, two broken toasters, one coffee cup, and no coffee maker to be found.

We specifically wanted an extended stay unit and access to a pool. Pool was empty of water and no hot tub available for use. There were four of us parents and adult chilren celebrating a college graduation. There were not enough forks, spoons, plates, glasses, cups or bowls for meals. The kitchen and living room/ bedroom area was attractive. The carpeting was quite stained and the bathroom was quite dated. Next time i’ll book a better extended stay.

I was initially impressed with enthusiasm, communication skills, and professional demeanor when I arrived to retrieve my reservation I am delighted to be writing this whoever that young man was the representative Front desk worker was I watch him handle a angry customer on the phone also check me and my family in and handle the 3 guest behind me you can tell that he is very reliable, dedicated, and eternally upbeat. His ability to calm angry or frustrated customers is unparalleled, and it is because of his excellence in this area that I repeatedly return to this hotel we need more people like him Without a doubt, I confidently recommend Sonesta es suits to all

I’ve stayed at many Sonesta Hotels. I have always been very satisfied with everything. Always dishware and the essentials, not so much this stay. It was clean and comfortable, but lacking. It needed an update, but many of the essentials were not there. No paper towels, the pots and pans were used and dated. Beds were comfy and room was good. I just don’t feel it was up to the usual Sonesta standards. I would stay again. The stay was not in anyway bad. I just felt they could have done better. Staff was friendly. Need more towels and essentials, good stay otherwise. Pet friendly, with an area to walk pets and also grills if you want to cook out. The area was safe and stores were convenient.

The area and the size of the rooms were great, the room however seemed it hadn’t been dusted in years. The vents(bathroom) were so thick with dust and the lathe walls were gross- hair,dust and boogers. The carpet is stained everywhere and the place smelled like pee. The price def reflects the condition of this property.

Cute room. Door was hard to open. Closet door was broken. No extra sheets, blankets, or pillows for pull out bed. Shower was not clean. The shower was out of body wash, shampoo, & conditioner. There was an old bar of soap open sitting on top of the shampoo holder. There was lots of old soap gunk on all of the holders. Other than those things it was nice & the office personal were great.

The accomodations were fine, but, we were told we would have a hot breakfast and there was nothing. The reviews said the breakfast was good and it still says so on their site. They said the inn was under new ownership and price reductions had been given. We prepaid for our room at the time of the reservation and have seen no credit back to our card. Based on these circumstances, we would not return to this facility.

We booked a King loft suite a year ago at a very reasonable rate for my husband and I and our 3 college student sons to stay before and after the eclipse. Unfortunately, the property had sustained a fire since we booked which limited the availability of the loft suites, so they were able to upgrade us to 2 king suites. We had a nice and quiet stay and slept very well in the king bed. We loved having the kitchenette to eat our delivery meals and save our leftovers. It was a nice space to play cards at the table. We also enjoyed the fireplace to make things extra warm and cozy. Sonesta ES Suites is the way to go if you're in this area. Restaurants and shopping are minutes away.
