location location location. Had an event at Golden 1 Center and this hotel's locale could not be better. Bars and options all around with no need for a car - offered two options for parking which i felt were resonable. If you can walk you will find plenty if you're into food and drink.
I was not disappointed by this place at all, maybe the view from the room could have been better but this place checked all the boxes. I tried to stay an additional night and the rate provided was a bit excessive for a Tuesday night but front desk was very accessible and helpful with all requests I had.

The View of Sacramento was beautiful.
We had a mix-up with the check-in, but it was resolved quickly, which was great, and there was no air ventilation for the bathrooms.

We've had our staycations here for years for my husband's birthday! I love the hotel itself and that it's centrally located. 😊
No more room service. ☹️

Clean, nice staff, close to everything
Can’t think of anything

Very friendly bartenders and servers at hotel bar. Staff was helpful. Comfy pillows and bed. Good coffee in the room. Big refrigerator in the room. Incredible location.
The same door that was out of order over a month ago was still out of order, making it a longer walk, in the rain, to enter the hotel. Of the 3 entrance doors, only one worked. Carpet was torn and patched and coming up from the floor. Poor water pressure in shower

I liked how close it was to golden 1.
Room was small, no fridge, no microwave. Housekeeper barged in at 9 am without warning. I was told there was breakfast, but there wasn’t. Bed was a full-size, not a queen, my husband barely fit.

Located in a great spot. Accessible to shopping centers, restaurants, super close to old Sacramento. Staff was very friendly and good value. We enjoyed our stay. We would visit again.
Although hotel was non smoking, The room did have a slight smell of smoke. Aside from that, everything was clean and staff was wonderful.

Excelente ubicación, sin ruido en la habitación.

It is an amazing location. We walked everywhere we went: Golden 1 stadium, the adjacent mall, the state Capitol, old Sacramento.
It didn’t have a mini fridge in the room. Luckily we brought a cooler for our daughters milk but had to keep getting ice for it. You don’t get free parking with your stay and you don’t get free breakfast. I don’t think they had a swimming pool or exercise room either.

It was an easy check in and the location is perfect for what I was there for
Staff told me I couldn't do early check in then proceeded to check in everyone that walked in after me.i used the restroom and when I came back there was still an hour before check in but they were checking in a line of people. Because of this I was not able to get a2 bed room which is why I showed up early to try and be the first one in. We were forgotten about multiple times when asking for extra bedding and towels to the point where we would have to go downstairs ourselves to get them and the door to our room would not close properly so we had to constantly shove it closed and yank on it to make sure it wouldn't pop open in the middle of the night

The hotel is walking distance to a nice shopping center with really good restaurants and bars.
Their so called "free wifi" does not work! I was on a work trip so I needed to finish some work to submit it the morning after. Three different people "tried" to help until they just gave up and told me that they would help me the morning after. I ended up checking out at 6 am to go and use the free and high quality wifi from the Amtrak Train!!! Also, one of the men who went to help with the internet connection on my computer found it ok to walk into my room. I had to leave the door open and stand outside of my room while he was trying to get ahold of some support! If you go on a business trip, DO NOT stay here!

The location was a walking distance to the Golden 1 Center
I was surprised with a $30 charge for parking.

staff friendly and helpful, coffee in the lobby was a good touch.
seems like it needs an update; carpet was meh in the room; very small bathroom for what I was paying.

We were traveling south on I-5, which the hotel is adjacent to, so it was extremely convenient.
One of the nicest hotels in Sacramento when it was built, it’s now a little worn around the edges; they no longer offer room service post-pandemic; and there is no valet parking, although we were able to pay extra for premium parking and leave the car in their lot right outside the entrance.

Arrived at 2:00 am and they double booked our room. It eventually worked out but we were exhausted.

the location was perfect, close to the event , restaurants, sites and easy to get back and forth to from outside the proximity of where we stayed.
I wish we had a better view and the beds were smaller than I expected but worked out okay for the purpose of our visit.

Keurig coffee makers in the room with dark roast pods! Proximity to the concert at the Golden One center. Friendly staff on check-in.
The sheets were too tightly tucked on the bed. No refrigerator in the room for restaurant leftovers.

being put in a handicap room when I didn’t request it.

Super convenient location for public transit: walking distance from Amtrak and light rail station, bus stops just outside the hotel. Walking distance to the riverfront and Old Sacramento.
Breakfast is very good quality, and the restaurant staff are extremely hospitable.
A microwave and refrigerator in the rooms would be good to have.

Very unfortunate situation. After we checked in and left all of our belongings in the hotel room, including a purse, another guest was given access to our room. When we returned to our room at 10:30 pm security immediately came to our door asking for luggage that was left in our room. About 15 mins later we got a call from the front desk asking for keys and air buds that were also left in our room. It was disturbing to learn that another guest had access to our room when we were not in it. That evening, no explanation was given to us because of a ‘shift change’. We didn’t know if the other guest still had key access to our room because no one working that shift had answers for us.
