Customer service was great. The location was so close to everything downtown, and the hotel itself was themed so well! We enjoyed our stay so much.
Honestly nothing!

Vibe and location
Not enough staff to properly serve guests in the lobby bar/ restaurant.

Location
Alyssa Ken Ericka and Katherine were great:)
The reservation said there was a pullout sofa with two queens beds but there wasn’t.
My two teenage kids didn’t want to sleep together. Also receipts were not given at hotel for food purchases only the proof pizza receipt.
Very discouraging to see what your spending without a detailed take home slip.

Love this hotel, I've stayed twice now and the art and the whole vibe is just awesome. We had so much fun wandering the galleries and playing records.
I was disappointed that the art in our room was the same as last time we also didn't have any craft paper or pencil sharpeners to get creative with. Our sink was not draining well and there was some general wear to some of the furnishings. We were also offered a snack at check in as well as complementary champagne at my first stay. The snack was skipped this time. I was told at check in that my included breakfast would include in room dining but was informed otherwise when I ordered. I am grateful that I was told before we finalized the order though as we adjusted our plans accordingly. I also felt that perhaps once you've stayed here once you don't need to stay again.

The location of the hotel and staff are fabulous.
Th safe wasn't working, it was replaced but not bolted down, so I was hesitant to use it. Also TV in bedroom froze up twice using Netflix so had to be reset each time. Minor inconveniences but this hotel is truly one of our favorites, so expectations are high.

All the food options! We arrived on the evening of a snow storm so leaving the hotel to find dinner was not an option.
We loved our choice of room with the separate seating area. Not obvious in the pictures was a sliding door to close off the room from the main sleeping area and bathroom. My partner moved to the couch one night when his back was killing him.
I loved everything about my stay at The Saint Kate so this is pure pickiness. The nonslip stuff in the shower was chipped and actively chipping. And the shower drain was super slow. Not so slow that we had an overflow situation but it was well on its way to having that happen. Nothing that would prevent me from returning!

room, location, atmosphere from lobby and bar area. complimentary champagne upon check in. You could tell this is a well operated Hotel by Marcus Corp. Much better than Iron Horse, where I will not stay

I stayed there for 3 nights. I really liked the location, the hotel itself ( very fancy) and the staff. The bar and the restaurant ARIA were okay too.
My main concern was that my room was not clean when I arrived ( I found some hair in the shower, the carpets were not clean at all as well)… It was kinda gross, so I asked the person at the front desk to have my room cleaned up on the next day. I was very disappointed when I came back from a walk on the next day and my room was not cleaned.. So next day I had too call the front desk twice to make sure that my room will be cleaned… It was then cleaned.. I mean the ladies were there but they did only the bed. The carpet was still very gross, the sink and the shower area were not cleaned at all! When you pay over 700$ for 3 nights, you kinda expect that it is going to be clean and will not have to worry about it..

The gentleman who checked us in and out was wonderful! The room was great.
The small blood stain on the mattress protector. Room service was slow.

I think Conde Nest Traveler said it the best..."One of the Absolute Coolest Hotels in Wisconsin". Each room is like a work of art. Loved the working record player! The pink eraser soaps at the room sink were gimmicky...and it worked...we bought multiple packages as gifts!
Would like better coordination between the hotel and restaurants. For ex, the hotel restaurant didn't know how to apply the restaurant credit provided by the hotel...yielding to some uncertainty.

We loved the hotel--everything about it is well thought out and quite beautiful. The big and comfortable lounge area was a real bonus! The only thing that wasn't great was the size of our room--it was a "king deluxe," but it felt a bit small.
As noted above, the room felt small despite its billing as a "king deluxe."

The front desk and bell boy service was definitely top notch I felt. The bar in the lobby was great. I enjoyed walking through the art exhibits with the cocktail in hand. Our hotel room was nice and very artsy. I love the little addition with the record player and old records. Super cool. Location was a short distance to some restaurants.
I didn't like the parking lot situation. It was a long walk with all your luggage, and if you want assistance, you have to walk to bell service first, get the rolling cart with the bell boy, and then back to car. It was a chaotic mess. But, once someone was there to assist, that made me feel better.

Love the art decor in the rooms and public areas. We used the record player and tried the ukulele but it was really out of tune. Good thing for the rooms next door! I have recommended St. Kate's to all my friends.
