No parking. Had to walk a couple blocks
10.0
Convenient and easy to find
The parking garage and elevators were a bit confusing and I didn’t like the extra fees for parking and breakfast when the stay was already pricey.

It was clean, no weird smells but also no overly intense perfumey smells either. The location was nice and the view was pleasant. I love the proximity to downtown.
I have no complaints about the property.

Overall, the location, staff, and facility were very good. Staff was friendly and helpful, and we were within walking distance to everything we were interested in.
We did see 1 roach, that we removed from the room ourselves, & the beds could've been a little softer (but I personally prefer softer beds, so that's just me)
8.0
Clean, close to shops.
Main purpose was to downtown DC to see cherry blossom.. this property is about 25 min drive but saved lots of money comparing to staying at downtown DC.
Booking.com showed $10 parking fee per day parking but it was $20 per day when staff informed at check-in. Booking.com needs to update this information.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß. Es war sehr ruhig im ganzen Hotel und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Besonders Temmy an der Rezeption. Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage, um mit der Metro nach DC zufahren.

I really like the size of the rooms and the hotel decor. As soon as I walked in hotel I was greeted with a cheerful and accommodating front desk staff. Oh and of course the cookies were delicious.
The bathroom was disgusting. The floors were and corners were not in alignment with beautiful upgrades of the hotel.

Bed was too deep in the middle and hurt my back and waist
Room didn’t meet the expectations for the value

Staff was great.
I didn’t like how i had to Pay for parking at the hotel and the mattress that we had was very uncomfortable. There was imprints on the mattress without us even laying in it. It had lumps in it and all we did was toss and turn throughout the night. The bathroom was not equipped with a bathroom fan.

It would be nice if there was a complimentary parking.

Self parking was easy and connected to the hotel. The hotel seemed clean and felt safe. 10-15 minute walk to the metro station. Quality seemed appropriate for the price. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure.
The hotel seemed a bit dated and the elevators weren't working properly so there was a lot of congestion. The hotel itself felt safe but the surrounding area had a lot of people just hanging around so I'm not sure I'd say it's safe to walk around at night. The staff didn't explain the elevator key card requirement to everyone so a lot of people were confused, leading to more elevator congestion. The ice maker made loud noises all night. Thermostat was set to 55 but wouldn't go below 70.
9.0
Cleanliness and size.
No table in room.

Room was clean, spacious and in close proximity to several craft breweries in the area.
The elevators were extremely slow.

Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is centrally located (great option if you're going to a show at The Fillmore and need to stay overnight) with plenty of places to eat nearby. We had maybe 1/4 roll of toilet paper so we called the front desk pretty late (around midnight) and they sent someone up to bring more, which was nice.
Air conditioner in our room was very loud, the elevators were incredibly slow, and the hallways of the hotel were warm (didn't seem like there was air conditioning in the common areas). Apparently, parking at the municipal lot next door is free on the weekends but they don't tell you that because they want you to pay $20 per night to park in their garage.

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
All in all, we would warmly recommend the hotel to anyone not too fussy, and we're sure that were a few Dollars invested in refurbishing, it would be as outstanding as its staff.
The building itself could have been maintained better, and the shower appliances urgently need renewing.

Room was clean and comfortable.
Window in room went into a court yard with a pool. Next time I would request a room with an outside window. Area around the elevator from the parking garage was really dirty looking.

The rooms are not inspected properly prior to a new guest coming in. This is the case in MANY hotels, not just here. One example, and it should be embarrassing to the management here especially for what they are charging with a room here and its exorbitant PARKING( which should be free for paying guests and is not) was a soak and wet carpet in front of the air cond unit next to the window where my socks were saturated several seconds after looking out the window. I wasn't even in the room 3 minutes at the time. Just looked out the window. In addition, electrical outlets non functioning in spots with a lamp out. The outlet was damaged too. Wouldn't even take a plug from a device. Very few spots to charge a phone. Also- as a forewarning to other guests coming here or any hotel. That comment box section for special requests when you make a reservation typing notes- DON'T BOTHER! They don't read them! You waste your valuable time typing it up after assigning your credit card info. Countless times for years now, I have asked for extra coffee packets, creamers, sugars, and extra soaps. It is never prepared in the room when you arrive. You will have to call the desk to ask again, and in attempts to call, it will either ring over 40 times with no pickup or they will put you ON HOLD forever. They don't have the manpower whether pre-or-post Covid. Staffing woes will exist til the end of time. They just don't want these hospitality jobs. Also, it is a darn shame that the maid in the hallway can't even understand what the word soap means in English. I had to grab it off the cart myself. She had no clue what it meant being non-American. The hotel can't even train them in basic words for the job they need to do. It is amazing, so don't bother asking them a question in English. They don't speak the language in the country they came to work in. Elevator light was also broke on one shaft.
