The staff really creates a culture of engagement and community which is what defines the hostel culture.

I liked how welcoming the staff was, they were very friendly and helped one whenever you needed something. It’s also awesome that they have something going on everyday, like the daily walking tours or free ice cream some days. I met some cool solo travelers as well and the location was amazing!

Clean facilities, helpful staff, amazing location
No separate toilets (shower and toilet in one room) so had to wait long in the morning

The staff was super helpful, kind, and positive. They made me feel comfortable, informed, and safe. The bathrooms were very nice and plentiful. There was a lot of space even in the top bunk. The lamp, fan, and privacy blinds made the bed feel like a single bedroom and I could not hear anything else. This may not be the case for everyone but I slept great. I liked that my bed was not messed with at all or remade while I was out which made my belongings feel very secure. The parking was a little tricky but the hostel staff did everything they could to ensure it was convenient. Once aware, it was very conveniently located but the hours were a little inconvenient as well as having to move the car every 24 hours. This was not a hit on the Airbnb, it was nice to have a parking option in such a busy tourist location. There was free ice cream while I was there, a pub crawl, and I think a food tour. There was free breakfast and hot coffee with a view overlooking the Pikes Market. It was right in the middle of all the places I wanted to see and eat at. Close to everything downtown and the price can not be beat. I can’t say enough good about this hostel.
Nothing.

La gentillesse des gens, l’emplacement même si si bruits de l’extérieur, le fait de pouvoir se faire à manger
La chaleur dans la chambre (quand on est au dessus il fait chaud même si nous mettons le ventillo qui fait beaucoup de bruit)

Breakfast was good, I was expecting a little bit more of variety but it was good! Location was good. I loved that they have a lot of activities during the night.
Some bathroom were dirty and had a horrible smell like man pee.

Aunque es una buena ubicación, es excesivamente ruidoso al estar enfrente del public market, y las ventanas no sirven, por lo que no puedes cerrarlas.

Location couldn't be better--right across the street from Pike Place market, very easy to access public transit such as train and buses
Facilities were kept clean, usually good availability of bathrooms
Felt safe/secure in the dorms
The lockers were under the beds, and blocked the door to the room if opened-- not only inconvenient, felt like a hazard--basically really easy way to block the door to the room, even by accident
Wished we could swap out or add blankets to our beds

A perfect location right across the street from the famous Public Market. The hostel staff was very helpful in every way, the city walking tour with Joe was amazing. That guy is hilarious! It's a must-do while staying at the Green Tortoise. The breakfast was awesome as well. Bed was comfy and long enough for a 6'4'' guy like me which is always nice to find. And I almost forgot...they were serving FREE BEER on a Saturday night. Can't beat that! It was a great experience staying at the Green Tortoise Hostel Seattle.
I wish I could have stayed longer

This was better than a hotel in that they had ear plugs, when my friend tweaked her foot, they randomly happened to have two crutches they could loan plus a hard and gel ice pack to choose from and ibuprofen! They gave perfect directions on where to catch the train to the airport, and were overall very welcoming. If we were at a hotel instead, we'd probably have been on our own to figure all these things out, ended up at Walgreens spending money or having to make an insurance claim out of country. The employees are very present and kind and even helped carry our bags up. Felt like having parents who cared always watching over us without being intrusive. Breakfast options were simple but good.
A couple times employees came to take out the trash by walking in which was a bit odd but it's dorm style and there was no ill intent. I'd suggest knocking and waiting for someone to open the door in case we are changing. Beds are hard so you have to rotate sides through the night but that's expected at a hostel too.

An amazing place to stay, in the heart of Seattle. The centre of Seattle Downtown, walkable distance to most of the places!
The hotel is very well organized, super friendly and helpfull stuff, everything you need there, very good breakfasts, cheap lockers avaliable for 3 USD only if you dont have one, the place is just nearby famost Market Place that is one of tourist atractions and others. Many places are with walkable distance, or there is cheap and convienient public transport in the city (one way ticket or ticket to the airport by fast train 3 USD only, daily public transport pass for busses and trams - 8 USD).
Highly recomended - one of the best organized hostels I have ever been. Best value for money in my humble opinion.
In my humble opinion, nothing to complain about.

bed was really comfortable. location of the hostel is great. You are in the center of everything. you can not ask for a better location. break fast was good.
2 weeks before my arrival, I asked for a lower bunk bed, and they agreed that they will give it to me (based on availability). when I arrived, they gave me a paper with the bed number on it. when I went to the room, it was a lower bunk bed but there was someone on the bed. I came to the reception and told them that about this, and they said Well, that's what it is, and we cannot ask people to move.
really??? That was the weirdest answer I have ever had in a hostel. I've been to 30 countries and 7 US states so far and no one ever told me that they cannot ask a guest that is on a wrong bed that they need to move. I was tired, I went to my room, and I took one of the other lower bunk beds and I thought if someone comes and ask me why I am on the wrong bed, I will say the same.
I stayed 3 days and, in my check out time I left my luggage in their storage room, and I told them that I might come back to stay 1 more night but since I was not sure, I checked out. my plan changed and I came back and paid for 1 more night and they gave me another bed in a different room. this room was freezing cold, I came to reception 2-times, and I told them that the room radiator is off. The guy with the glasses on told me both times that he is going to turn it on. I went back upstairs after 20 min; Radiator was on only for 5-10 min with the lowest temperature and again off. I went downstairs again and told him that the room is cold. again, same answer. he said he is going to turn it on. but again, nothing happened. I was already so tired, and my ticket was for early morning. So I went to bed, took another blanket from a different bed. but could not sleep because of the cold weather. my experience in this hostel was just ok.
