The room was beautiful, the beds were a normal size queen and very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The overall room was perfect for our stay. The front staff were very polite and helpful. Only thing that would have made it better is if they had a pool.
View of the parking garage. However being in a city hotel I guess it’s expected.

The staff were beyond helpful. They were all super friendly and just top notch service. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was a great stay and I would happily return again. And or recommend it to friends and family.
Nothing!

The breakfast was delicious and restaurant very handy.
Our room was COLD! It was cold, windy and rainy outside and when we tried to turn up the heat, the fan still kept blowing out cold air. We turned it up to 80 degrees when we left for the show and it was still cold when we returned. We called the front desk but he said he would have to get an engineer to come up and take a look. We just turned it off for the night.

Fab location, will stay here again! Stayed with my wife and two kids, close to the market, felt safe and secure even in the heart of downtown. Great valet parking also. Looking forward to checking out fog room when I come back with my wife.

The view from the corner room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The corner suite was very large and well decorated.
The staff were not helpful at all - one of the main downtown streets was closed the day we stayed and it took two hours to reach the hotel. Valet was not available to park the car, so we had to go back out in traffic. The front desk also gave confusing and inaccurate directions to their partner parking garage. One of the main reasons we chose the Charter was their rooftop bar, the Fog Room. The bar was closed that Saturday for a private event so we were unable to visit. The bottom floor restaurant would not provide room service, so we had to wait for food to be prepared and carry multiple plates to our room ourselves. The halls also smelled like cigarette smoke although we were on a non-smoking floor. Anyone familiar with Seattle knows that downtown has gone downhill over Covid; don’t look down out of your windows otherwise you’ll see displaced people partaking in drugs and other unsavory details. Overall pretty disappointed with the service and location for the price point.

Close to the market.
Staff was actually terrible. New management is needed.

Very roomy corner room with comfortable beds. We were able to leave our luggage in storage at the hotel early in the mornings. The staff gave us a call when the room was ready and we were able to check into the room by 1 pm. It was so appreciated. The staff was all around excellent!
Did not have ice on the top floor.

Location.
No foodservice during most of the day. No room service dining. No housekeeping. No ice machines. No response when I tried to call the front desk. AND THEY CHARGE AN ADDITIONAL $100/day for "urban destination charges" which is a total crock. I travel for business and leisure, have stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world, and I HAVE NEVER HAD A WORSE HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE.

Clean and felt secure, very close to so many things. I was seeing a concert at the Showbox so only having to walk a block or so and not worry about my car was fantastic.
Having to find a place for parking despite the booking indicating valet service. I happened to hear a couple talking with the valet about it and apparently the spot in front where you would do this was just parked in at the time. Very confusing after driving 4 hours to get there but thankfully there’s a parking structure a block down the road and another on the same block.

clean and friendly
I believed that the room would be $400. Then maybe $500 with taxes. I didn’t understand how it averaged $750 a night. Resort fees? I don’t remember using there being even a hot tub.

location was perfect
Restaurant and bar had limited hours . Additional fees did not have any value (similar to report fees)
