HOTEL SLUM - NEVER STAY HERE - photos from June 2024 provided

Nothing, left immediately! This place should be condemned!

The place was so dirty on the outside when we arrived, weeds as tall as my kids, pool green. Friends could not get another place and had to stay. Photos from them show mold in the hotel rooms & bathrooms. Stains on bedding, green half filled pool, reused key card holders (the last room that used it was crossed out and their room number wrote above it. The girl at the desk was stressed out and super rude. Was irate with me that I would not want to stay there, that she would call the cops on us. I let her know I was getting calls from other families we were meeting that were checking in that the place was horrible and they could not stay there and were all working to find another place to stay. I asked for the number to the hotel because I had been calling for hours with no answer I told her, however she would not provide it to me and said whatever the number from Google is and that she did not know the number there. I asked how she calls off work when needed and she noted she calls her managers cell direct and asked if I know my work phone number? "Yes I do" I replied and here response was "WELL that is great for you Karen", which is not my name. The young lady threw a paper and pen at me onto the counter and told me to write my phone number on it, I threw it back and let he know not to do things like this to me. She decided to not call the police but called her manager as I reminded her she was on camera, if the cameras were even working! She went into the back room, slammed the door repeatedly and shouted at me through the door that the manager was refunding me and canceling my stay. She never came out of the backroom and I left. HORRIBLE

We didn't stay due to the poor conditions. Even the men's bathroom in the lobby was out of order.

F this place!

Check in was easy. Breakfast is ok.

Housekeeping sucks!!! They don't clean anything! There's trash in the halls, nothing has been vacuumed, they don't clean the rooms! Three Health Department shut down the pool and it's been closed for 4 days now! DON'T STAY HERE!

Convenient but likely wouldn't return

It was affordable. It was close to or down the street from a lot of restaurants and stores. Its right off the freeway

Based on the photos I thought it'd be a little nicer and cleaner. Its outdated. There was no remote for our TV and the front desk was so stressed with things we didn't bother her for one. She was friendly just seemed like she had too much going on. We only stayed one night and it served its purpose

Spend a little more money and go somewhere better!

The room was decent, there's breakfast, and the pool is nice.

The room was pretty decent but the housekeeping was terrible!!! They absolutely refused to do any part of their job! They didn't change the beds or the towels. It took therm 2 days to pick up the trash I sat outside my room. The housekeeping staff walked right past it. Not once, but for my entire stay the trash change 2 times. (Pics dated and time stamped) They didn't bring soap, tissue, nothing.... yet the marked the book as if they actually cleaned the room. I spoke to the GM and she made them clean it and apologized but nobody really cared. The stairs and halls are filthy! They haven't been swept or vacuumed in a long time.

Room was reasonably clean and the cleaning lady was very helpful. The front desk staff wes worthless

Room was clean but we did not have a remote for the TV. had to finally get one from the cleaning lady who was awesome. the front desk help not so awesome.

Breakfast was pretty much non existant. there was supposed to be sausage gravy and biscuits. there was a full tray of biscuits but not a drop of gravy.

As anniversary nights away go, this one turned out to be quite miserable because of the state of this room.

the location was the reason this property was chosen

There was debris (wrappers, dirt, etc.) on the floor in the halls, there were numerous scuff marks and scratches in the walls/paint, there were stains on the walls and furniture, the tiles and grout around the base of the jacuzzi were broken and falling away, there was no tissue or a tissue box in the holder for it, there was a lot of dust on the bathroom vent, there were noticeable cracks in the walls, the bedroom closet door couldn’t be opened all the way, and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever tried to sleep on. There was very little padding left on the springs. it was like sleeping on a grill.

Very poor

Blinds were down, plastic silverware left in corner not even hidden. Stains on the chair. Doors next door to us and to get up to second floor slammed all night. Got no sleep and left early in the morning because we were wide awake from the stair door slamming all night. Called front desk at midnight and he said he will stop guests from using the stair door, that did not happen. We get it’s a hotel and people come and go at all times, but maybe prevent the doors from slamming. I have videos from the time we checked in to the time we checked out of the slamming door, but this post won’t allow videos.

Uncleaned Rooms.

The lady at the front desk during our pm check-in.

A empty liquor bottle was in our closet and the whirlpool wasn't cleaned.(We don't drink) Went to talk with the front desk and she gave us another room. Went to the new room and the bed wasn't made, heat was on high and set at 80° and all of the lights were on. We took a picture and went back to the front desk. The front desk (lady) came to our first room and personally cleaned our whirlpool. She was informed by the manager/owner that she could've give us a discount. Will never go back. Breakfast waffle mix was old also.

The location was nice and there was nice areas to walk my doggo.

The staff didn't know what was going on. Doors were propped open so I didn't feel safe. The King room was dirty and needed a lot of repairs... they shouldn't have rented it out.

Disappointing

Service was fast. Rooms were clean.

That we believed to have paid for 3 days. We came from Dansville MI. Now a different worker is trying to charge $25 late fee because of misunderstanding of check out times. We're already packing our stuff to leave so charge us for trying to leave. I will be making management aware.
