The courtyard is a good hotel -- nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. I wish there had been an outdoor patio/courtyard for guests, and I also wish they had a pool, but it is right across from Lake Union where you can watch people swimming and paddleboarding. You can walk or run the Lake Union trail, or take a decent walk to downtown and/or Seattle center. It's a great location if you don't mind some decent walks. The neighborhood was better than expected even with all the construction, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
No outdoor areas to sit and have a drink/coffee. No pool. Lots of construction happening very close by.

Nothing
It had a weird smell, elevators close on you, and someone came into our room without our permission at some point

The location
They didn’t clean the room during our stay. And had to pay for $50/night for parking.

The distance from the hotel to attractions was a good walking distance. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.
The only thing I noticed was the cover to the key card sensor popped off and was on the floor when we were leaving to check out. But other than that we had a good one night stay.

The decor of gray, brown and cold seems to be a fad these days. Add fluorescent type lighting and it's downright depressing. Staff was professional and efficient, but matched the decor that lacked warmth.

They had fresh steel cut oatmeal with all the trimmings. The people working there were kind and genuine, I think solicitous, both at the front desk and in the breakfast room.
We had stayed there before the renovation and really liked the reno details and everything, except some of the upholstered cushions in the breakfast room, was spotless.
I’m am not a fan of noisy refrigerators in the bedroom, but I just unplug it.

it is meet with the standard facility of 3 or 4 Star Hotel.
The room did not match with the promised before. It made me really disappointed.
- I reserved in Aug 14, 2023 for stay in Oct 6-8, 2023 (2 nite). I asked for High Floor & Lake View.
- In Aug 14, 2023 I received a message from the property (via Booking.com) that my reservation has confirmed & "will be arrange as my request without any extra charge".
- In Oct 6, 2023 I came and I got a room with a very bad view, what I could see was just a huge roof top with some machines on it. I came to front office & asked to move to another room. But they said there's no any room left. I could move to another room tomorrow.
- Oct 7, 2023 very early in the morning I put all my luggage to front office in order to ease a movement that day, because the front office confirmed that I will move to the 9th floor.
Much to my surprise, I came at night in Oct 7, 2023 and asking about my new room, the front office told me that I could not move. The front office on duty seems tried to gave me another room, but after he asked his Superior he came to me with "NO" Answer.
Reasons that made me really upset :
1. In Aug 14, 2023 the property sent me a very nice promises message about my request. (I paid full with non refundable method).
2. In Oct 7, 2023 Front Office morning duty confirmed that I will be moved to 9th floor.
3. In Oct 7, 2023 Front Office nite duty was trying to find me another room, but It's seem rejected by his Superior.

The location was convenient. Good and well priced food in the cafe.
Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. No maid service for a two night stay, not a huge deal but seems high priced for what it was, especially the $50 per night for parking. Room was clean but nothing special. Paying for Lake view didnt seem worth it, it isnt right on the late, its across the street at the very end of the lake and the view of the lake isnt impressive.

The view of Lake Union was nice. The location was close to downtown Seattle with many options of transportation to get to locations such as Pike Place Market or The Space Needle. The room was fairly clean and met our needs. I liked the variety of equipment that was available in the fitness center.
I did not like that the parking fee was $50 per day. While I understand this isn't the safest area and there seems to be problems with theft, that is a large amount to be paying in addition to our hotel room cost.

The facilities and the hotel itself was really nice. Beautiful and clean in all common areas. The gym is spectacular for a hotel gym. The "feel" was great. Was there over the 4th of July and when all hotel guests came back expecting to head up to their rooms (There was a very popular fireworks destination across the street), The hotel staff made it very organized and and efficient got massive amounts of people up the elevators. Kudos to those people. Also those individuals that clean the rooms were the nicest staff the hotel has. Always grinning with a smile behind their masks and always saying hello. Thanks for making me feel welcome.
1. When we came back from our first day venturing out into Seattle at roughly 3:30 we notice our room was not cleaned. We called the front desk and said sometimes they need until 5pm which I thought was odd. Then they call me back and said "oh sorry, it's because you're on the every-other-day plan". I was baffled. I never heard of that and checking my Booking confirmation info and it didn't say that anywhere.
2. They offer up HBO Max and the one night we tried to watch a movie the streaming was worse that dial-up. The "free" internet as a whole a whole was beyond shotty. Wasn't even a populated area, but I stayed on Data which was faster. Also, the TV would just SHUT OFF while we were watching stuff. No sleep button or anything, just decided to shut off.
3. Elevators: There's only 3 and they were NOT good. I see why they needed the organization after the 4th fireworks. One day it lost us about 30 min trying to leave the hotel. Stairwells wouldn't go down to first floor. There was a mega door on that floor that sound EMERGENCY ALARM WILL SOUND IF OPENED. Technically we were trapped. We met people on every floor trying to escape. There should have been an employee on each floor instructing people. The rest of the trip was not as bad but the elevators still cancelled floor drop-offs, went the wrong direction, etc.
4. I'm all for ensuring the safety of guests, but I was asked to wear a wristband to be able to get into the hotel. That is unacceptable. My hotel keycard should be enough. My FACE should be enough after a coupe of days going in and out. I'm not attending a concert. Find another way to keep strangers off your premises.
5. The front desk staff. Just not nice or friendly. And the one time we had a question, we didn't get a helpful response.
